The DNC Registry is not a call blocking service. Legitimate organizations honor the registry. However there are loopholes to the registry. Needless to say many of the numbers that appear on caller id are bogus. To make matters worse many operations are based overseas and the DNC registry doesn't apply to them.

I don't answer,but it's still annoying.I do't know how these calls get thru when I am on the do not call list!

another number blocked. I block 1  a day. They do not even register as incoming calls daily on Comcast voice because they usually come from fax numbers. I do not know what the do not call list does except give someone permission daily to call and harass people who have done nothing. I do not answer any of these calls, but they come daily from different numbers.

annoying.  just a recording of someone sneezing and a loud banging machine noise.  They just keep calling playing this message and then the call ends.

Called a few minutes ago, first time.  I never, ever answer any of these anymore.  After checking here (which I always do), BLOCKED.  Thanks for great info, gang :-)

They called talking real fast stating I will get 20% discount on my PSE&G bill, when asked is this PSE&G he said no but I will get a discount.  If I said yes he would've changed my electric service provider without permission and I wouldn't known until I get the bill.

This number just called, no message. If its about long distance plans, somebody who is actually a human being who would have to had the number somewhere in the chain didn't bother checking that we do not have a long distance carrier per se. The home phone isn't even a landline, its basically a second wireless (cell) number through our very long time, well known wireless provider.

They  call a couple times a day, when I callback I get a robot like message. Blocked the number hopefully that works. Thx for the info about some scumbag energy supplier. The laws here in NJ have gotten very  strict about these a**_holes recently and I'll be filing a formal complainrt.

They change you to their company  without your permission by getting your information.  They are currently in court over doing this.
