The guy copped a big attitude with me when I told him my husband was a police officer and told me they NEVER call or hire anyone to call on their behalf and that this was a scam. He called me a liar so I hung up on him, he called right back. He now is blocked

Called at 10AM today (Sunday) on a holiday weekend. I did not answer. No message was left. I just blocked this number. I have also previously blocked 856-506-3102.

(856) 506-3104 Live contribution solicitation 05/24/2014 on behalf of NJ State Police Association
Caller ID: Millville NJ
I've had it with these unsolicited contribution callers (they only pass on 10% to 12% to the charity) who won't remove me from their call lists. My new attitude is to cause them trouble and cost them money, perhaps then they'll get the message. I give them a fake name and address when making a "generous pledge" they they won't want to ignore. It's worth it to waste their time, processing a contribution pledge and paying for outgoing postage, only to have it returned by the Post Office as undeliverable, taking up more of their time.
I try to record spam calls using Google Voice ( www.google.com/voice ) but this call was not made to my Google number. You can hear other recorded conversations on my Spam Calls web page:
