This person called me named Steve McDonald then put his number as 856-246-5260 statingfor me to  to sent money to a green dot card. When asked to do a three way call with actual merchant that I owed he refused then asked me for the number I called. They are a Bogus.

Same thing happened to me - on cell and at work. Thank you to those who posted the fccgov.com website. I will file my complaint with them as well. And heres another number to watch out for 877-777-4163.

This king of nonsense is getting out of hand...I tried to talk calmly with this %$#@!&! but he cursed me and hung up. Since he was stupid enough to leave his number, I filed a complaint with the FCC. And I "flipped the script" now I do a *67 so he can't see who's calling. and tonight i am calling him every 15-20 minutes..

What kind of BS is this?

I just received a all from this number - he was from "New Jersey Law Office" and I was involved in a lawsuit.  I didn't give him a chance to say anything else, told him it was B***S*** and hung the phone.  Do not fall for these predators.  My co-worker worked for a lawyer for over 20 years - the law does not inform you when they are coming to arrest you AND lawsuits have to filed and paperwork sent.

I just received a call on my cell phone and at WORK, telling me that I would be picked up tomorrow by the police and enjoy my time in jail since I was cooperating... He too told me that I received a USA cash advance and defaulted on it, which I have not!! He used Stephen McDonald for my call!

no I turn down loan over the phone because I was not paying any money to get money, now he said that I did not have funds in my account when they went to get it out.

Never was received money because I did not go threw with all the paper work at the end. He also said that the police was picking me up at 11:00 tomorrow and that I would be jail for 10 days.

There is no way that I am going to allow someone to harass me like this, so I filed my complaint a few minutes ago.
This "trick" wants you to believe his name is Anthony Davis.  Come on .... since when does a heavy accent (sounds like an eastern indian accent) have an American name like Anthony Davis?

I filed, and I just wanted to pass this information along to anyone else that wants to file a formal complaint.  This "trick" not only called my home twice, left a message once, but also called my work number!  Where are they getting this information from?

Got a call at work from this number!  Stated his name was Anthony Davis and that he was with some legal firm.  He asked me to hold while he transferred me to another line. (I was asking him why he sounded like he was calling from another country).  He asked if I wanted to know why he was calling, and I said yes.  He stated that I was a suspect in, and before he could finish, I informed him that my husband was a lawyer, and that his best friend is a judge, since he threatened me, how about letting them handle this case of whatever it is, and he hung up!

man called my job saying his name was Robert Foster and that it was an emergency I should call him back immediately.  I got the message and he tried to tell me he was a law office and there is a lawsuit against me I need to get an attorney immediately.  I was finished on the internet when I click on a Google ad on accident for the Cash Store I'm positive this is where this man got my information from.

I have been receiving calls from this number as well. Maybe a few weeks ago he left a message that I could barely understand. He said something about do not ignore this message you need to call me back right away. I never called him back because I could not understand his name and he never said why or where he was calling from. Today the same number called me 5 different times and finally left a message. He said that he has tried calling but keeps getting my voicemail and I have not returned his calls. I had 2 hours to call him back or he wished me luck if I didn't. Something about my job and home. I never can understand a word he says. But again he never says why or where he is calling from.

Called me too left me vm......said he wished me luck if I didn't call back.......I Called back to him to email me the affidavit. .....said it was against the law. ......he told the cops were coming for me!  What a funny Indian!

I received many calls and voicemails from this number. Throughout the 4 voicemails I received 2 of them claimed to be David foster and the other two I don't remember. Apparently they had some sort of lawsuit pending against me and the police were going to be at my door the next morning to pick me up. Very threatening and confrontational. Asking if I had a lawyer and that they were getting me for fraud. Most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I blocked their number.

i received a call from an Anthony Davis at the number 856-583-1549 he said that he was with the IRS internal revenue services and needed to talk to me about a legal matter that was against me in my state i did not call him back because i know that i pay my bill and owe nobody nothing i am complaining because this is BS that people do this to others and they need to be stopped i vote that they take telemarketing and shove it.

Rcvd numerous calls from this number with vm left threatening me with terrible endeavors to unfold if I didn't return call. Name used was steve. Called number back and same heavy accented man calling himself steve began to threaten lawsuit and when I told him I knew it was a scam and to not call me again he began to yell obscene sexual comments about me my mama my dad... :(  went through entire family tree basically and told me the police were on the way to arrest me for the lawsuit that I had pending in his office. .??? Reported this number for harassment and threating comments and messages.

Received a call and because I didn't recognized the number allowed it to go into my voicemail. It was a man with a very heavy accent (Middle Eastern) who said that he was calling  from the "Legal Law Office of New Jersey" about a very urgent legal matter.
