This people are rude and say that they will keep calling until they reach the person and will not take the answer that this person is not here

Asked for Tim...... 10:45 at night. Isn't that a little late to call? Her name was Maggie and gave me her extension   2527. Extremely unprofessional. Being rude is and understatement. The thing on the bottom says for me to watch my language. Maybe Maggie should take that approach.

They called us at 8 a.m. this morning, Saturday, woke us up...grrr...then called again and after attempted requests at asking them who they are and why they're calling, they refused over and over to answer me as to why they were calling and asking me for my address and social security number over and over...like I'm going to give any of that to them...idiots... Calling the phone company to see if I can get the number blocked.

Every day...sometimes twice...I get a message from these people. They need to STOP STOP STOP calling me. My credit rating is over 800 - I pay my bills on time!!!

I get daily calls from these people. They don't leave messages.....they just call over and over. I want it to stop.

Getting phone calls at 8am many times. They keep saing that I have a master card which I dont. And ask to colloct money from me.

I have no idea who these people are.  No one answers when I pick up and never leave a voicemail.  I tried calling them back and no one asnwers.  "I'm sorry. No one is available to take your call at this time. Please leave your name, phone number, and Monarch Account number."

These people call me early in the morning starting 8 and all throughout the day. I really wish they stop calling me.

They call 10 times a day looking for someone that isn't me...  They don't seem to understand the message I relay to them... What part of I'm not the person you are looking for that you don't understand...

I am getting several call asking for someone who is not at this number. They said in a message left on my phone they are going to sue me and see me in court. I hope they understand that I will go to court and prove them wrong and they will have to paid the court cost.They need to make sure they are calling the right person and when someone tell them they have the wrong number stop stop stop calling

These people have called twice back in Feb. and again today looking for someone who does not live at my number. I filed complaint with FTC and today I contacted www.fairdebtlawyers.com like an earlier poster had and these people are great. They know ACS well and will take action on your behalf.

God I hope this finally puts an end to these Academy scumbags

I keep receiving these F%#*!&* calls from this number looking for "EDWIN HENNESSEY". I am PI$$ED OFF at these lifeless, annoying, stupid, b@$t@rd$. They have nothing better to do with their pitiful lives. I am one step away from suing these @$$H*L3S!!!

Called them.  They refused to identify the name of the company!  Asked about someone who gave them our phone number.  I agree with comments above.  They are obviously stupid, ignorant and uneducated.

Apparently, the FTC saw a pattern of abuses and took action.  FTC issued this press release....

Academy settled the case out of court, but I will not hesitate to sue them if they cross the line again.

The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction but does not take legal action on individual cases.  In other words, you have to sue.

I told these people that I am not the debtor, but apparently they didn't believe me and kept on calling.  Please don't encourage them.

This is a company contracted to find people who skip out on paying their bills. They may not even be trying to contact you, it could be someone who may have lived at your address or had your phone number previously. I pay my bills so I typically answer the phone when these calls come through and try to be as helpful as I can for them. Usually if you answer the call and they tell you who they are looking for and you tell them they don't live there, they don't bother you anymore.

I was getting many calls at my new phone number for my husband's ex-wife. I was puzzled why they were calling MY NEW AND UNLISTED number looking for her when they explained that they get public records (phone numbers) for addresses associated with the person they are looking for and call them to get "leads" on the whereabouts of the person. It is called skip-tracing. I was MORE THAN HAPPY to give them the ex's correct address and number ;-)

Five months ago these people bombarded my cell phone with a pre-recorded message for someone who apparently had owned my number.  I got them to stop by writing to them and copying my letter to the PA state attorney general and the FTC.  Now they are back.  This time a real person dialed my cell phone and left me a voicemail message.  She addressed me by my name and said that she wanted to get a hold of the debtor.  These people are inept, and they are using very old information.  If they can't find their debtor, I can't help them.  I acquired my cell phone number back in January 2004!  It was the luck of the draw that I got this number.  I don't know the debtor.

These people call my number everyday looking for someone I have never heard of before. When i tell them that I dont know the person they ar elooking for they say I am lieing and demand me to tell them how to reach the person they are looking for. well duh if I dont know them I cant tell you how to get in touch with them. Is this phone harrassment cause I am fed up with it.
