Just a reminder that you people should NOT call them back.  It's a scam where you end up paying international calling fees and services as you wait for someone to talk to you.  Like those old 800 adult phone calls where you're charges a certain amount per minute.  

They call me, when I don't answer because their number is not familiar then I
call them back and ask who is calling me please, they don't reply to my question,
and they sound like a bunch of clowns goofing off.

These b*****ds keep calling my phone. I ask who is it, the never identify themselves, they keep asking for me, is this you, is your name so and so, the person I'm trying to reach, is this you? etc. etc. In response, I keep asking, who is this, who is this, what is this, who are you, what are you, what planet are you from. STOP CALLING MY F**KIN PHONE! THE DO NOT CALL LIST DOES NOT WORK WORTH A DAMN! F.T.W

Received call from 856-685-5515. Caller said nothing, hung up. I called back, they picked up phone after 4 rings, I heard something in the background about "Back door boobie trap", but it was chatter from someone else in the room, chatter was native English (american/male/25-35yrs of age). Caller said nothing, but knew they had to pickup after 4th ring or VM would give them away (potentially)..Just returned from trip to Thailand, Doubt there is any connection, From the comments above, sounds like maybe Indian (India) involvement?  "Shanty" scam operation if you will?

I answered and no one said anything.  I said hello again, when they said nothing, I said well then goodbye.

They call several times a week and never leave a message!  Most irritating!!!!!

I just got a call from this number asking me to verify my birthdate and address. I said I do not give out personal information over the phone and asked what it pertained to and they said they couldn't tell me until I gave them information they needed. Sounded fraudulent.

This guy will not identify himself and says he needed to speak to my father and when i said he was not available he said he would call back.He had an Indian accent and was stumbling over his words

No idea of WHAT this person is representing. VERY thick accent, identified himself as an Overseas Operator, bad connection & he wanted me to hold while he transferred me to my "personal international banker". I hung up and blocked any further calls to my CELL phone from that number.

Called and no message, I called back and they answered "How can I help you?", I told them I just missed a call from this number and was told they would connect me to the person trying to reach me.  I sat on hold forever with no pickup.

Got a call from this number...man with a very thick accent I asked what country he was calling from, he said India then told me I had a party waiting on the other line and he needed to transfer the call to me I said is there a charge for this? Heard silence so I just said NO and hung up...what is this number???

they claim to be a colllection agency and are not.

5 calls . one after another. placed on reject list. first time they called ,they asked for a woman. wrong number. Well,really not. Have seen this happen repeatedly. Someone takes out a loan and gives "any" number. Then they don't pay and you get calls forever, because loaners aren't smart enough to verify the number first( like ring the number while they are in front of you. If it doesn't ring-no loan).
