I run a call center and work very hard to live within the laws of mortgage collections.  Out of the blue today I received a call like everyone that has posted.  I just don't answer the phone for a number I don't know and Sean Williams is the name the recording gives.  Within an hour I received a second call.  I have since blocked the phone 854-565-2595 and will add more numbers if / when they change phones.  Just so everyone understands that these calls fall within a very small crack of the law.  For those of you on the do not call list, the reason you will continue to get calls from these scammers is they picked up your information from somewhere (a web site or mailing etc) and are operating under the tense that you solicited from them.  We all know that not to be the case but that is how they are getting away with it.  Locally, we had another group like this using the power companies name to say they were giving free surveys.  The state finally got them because so many of us reported them to both the state, FCC, and the power company.  Please if you get these calls report each one of them.  At some point the Law with crack down and do something.  In the mean time it sucks for us to work in the real industry and live well within the law.

Received a message from Sean Williams to call back concerning a important matter and to not avoid calling back or some bullcrap.  Well I called back and asked to speak to Sean and Melvin said that person only called and he handled the cases.  I asked what this was in reference too and he verified my phone number and began to read the charges supposedly against me.  Bank Fraud etc...I told him I didn't take out any loans and if I did, my bank would be coming after me for fraud not some scamming company like him.  He got angry at me and said he was going to come and have me arrested.  I told him, "bring your azz cus I'll be waiting for you along with the FBI".  He immediately hung up.  I called him back and told him I would continue to call and harass him if he doesn't stop calling me every few months about this bogus loan.  I told him to get a real job and stop trying to scam honest Americans.  Or at least take yourself to school to learn how to speak English.  So tired of these people.  They change their numbers everytime but I always call them back and threaten them with the FBI.

He calls my boss at work. It is bogus, he just called fifteen minutes ago. There is no way to get rid of him.

This is by far the strangest call I've ever received. The caller ID says 253-363-9006 but the voicemail was left by an Indiana sounding woman who was on Speakerphone. She identified herself as Nancy Walters saying as soon as I get this message I need to call her back. Also told me not to ignore thismessage and went on to say if I do chose to ignore this message then all she can say is 'good luck, you will need it'. So of course I've been trying to call back 856-720-0906 which is the # she left on my voicemail and it's been busy for about the last 15 minutes. I don't know what this is or about. I have some unpaid bills like two of them but I knoweverything about them and they wouldn't be calling me like that.

I got a call regarding some loan, i had taken 2 loan and i made my payment via westan union and i got payment slip that i  made my loan payment...They told me now there r no debt on me..
i would really like to thanks!! them as i had forgotten to repay my loan!!!!

This is a follow up to my first posting last night.
I called this number once again this morning as it was busy all night last night. An Indian man answered the phone. Of course it was extremely difficult to understand this man. I had to ask him several times to slow down and repeat his information. He claims I'm in trouble for Bank Fraud, Grand Larceny and something else I couldn't make out. He said to hold my questions til after he read my afadavidt. In his reading he alleges that I borrowed money from an online payday loan place called Quick Cash Advance. I googled this company and it doesn't exist. I relayed that to this man who said Quick Cash Adv is the parent company over 300 companys. So I asked for teh contact information for the Quick Cash Adv. Indian says he's not allowed to give me that information. So I asked for the specific name/contact information for the website I allegedly borrowed money from. He also could not share that information. He then says I borrowed $523 which then became $300 with $223 as fees and I'm being sued for $5,432. He gave me two options. He'll 'drag me to court' for the money or we could do an OCCR which somehow translates to an out of court settlement. At this time I'm supposed to confirm my information to him. I say no you tell me what you have. He had my DL#, SSN#, Bank routing/account #s, address, employer etc etc. At thsi point I'm freaking out, I told him I googled his # and there are dozens of people who left similar stories to mine, he said there's no governing the comments i could get on and publish 100 in 10 minutes. I told him that's great but that I had to let him so I could use the phone and call the police. He fought more about the comments and I finally hung up on him. I contacted my bank, the manager and I met at the bank. Mybanker called this # and the Indian gave my banker the same run around. So basically I had to change my account number, my social has been flagged and I'm changing my drivers license #. My local PD is also filing a report with the Governments Fraud Dept.

This Indian Identifies himself as the Clifton group. My banker, the police and I all  called teh Clifton Group in MN which is the only Clifton Group I could find. They don't have a NJ office which is where the 856 tracks to and they nor do they employ this many Indians. There is quite a situation going on here.

You're actually the person I was on the phone with this morning from the clifton group. I can tell bc you talk the way you type. I never took a loan out in the first place to owe any money back to. BUt that's fine, everything from my SSN DLN & Banking account numbers have been changed. Good luck to you guys. I've reported you to your phone provider, the state of NJ, my local PD and the Governments Fraud Dept. I also called my local Sheriffs dept and they have no record what so ever of any court appearances for me.

I received the same call from the same number. The information described in the  above post was exact as the call I received. They also used phone numbers 253-363-9006 and a 206-445-6568 number. I'll be very relieved when these perpetrators are caught.

I have been scammed by these kind of folks before on a Friday at 12noon months ago.  I didn't think I owed them any money but they scared me. I harrassed them for a letter requesting the loan payback, name of the company that they said was UCI. I kept calling back and received my money back when I reported them to the the FCC and FBI for fraud.

An Indian speaking voice message was left by some lady named Samantha from 856-720-0906.  I forwarded the number to the FBI and made a police report regarding a verbal threat.  These scammers need to get water boarded!  I'm just saying!

I got the same call today they are very rude and they keep calling my work it is very annoying.  His name is David Watson from The Clifton Group supposabley.  He threatend me telling me they will go to my work or my apartment to collect the money.  He said I owed Quick Cash Advance he will not give me any information on them.  I even looked it up nothing came up. I know I don't owe any money cash advance on line.  I hope this stop soon it is very annoying and stressfull talking to these people.

I keep getting a call from a Shawn Williams, clearly he is not American, and he says I have charges that will be brought against me for some money I owe.  I pay all of my bills, and nothing is unaccounted for.  The legal system doesn't work this way in America anyway, and he thinks we're dumb.  I wish this guy would be prosecuted.  My number is on the don't call list for cell phones and he continues to call.  Somebody track this guy down and put him in jail!!!!

I have received calls from this "person" claiming that I ditched a payday loan.  Being the complete b!tch that I am, I played along and then dropped a whammy on him.  I told him payday loans were illegal in Arizona as of 7/1/2010.  Given he told me I got one in 9/2010, I told him to F off and that I would be contacting the authorities.  He hung up on me and hadnt heard a word since.

Today I got a call again and will not be returning it.  There has to be something to get these fricken a-holes from calling up.  I mean really?  I shouldnt have to change my number because of some stupid f!ck Indian man with little capability of speaking English.

this in-bred donkey with an indian accent calls me from this no. claiming to be an internet pharmacy selling viagra and cialis.  I usually tell him to f-off and i don't hear from him for another 2 months. but last night he called and i proud to say i said such horrible things to him it actually got him rattled and he called me back 10 times in a row from different variations of the same no. 253-363-9006, +20 64456544, +20 64456568 and so on.

If you insult his harry wife who's his sister, ugly kids and his in-breeding ways he'll get the point. at least it worked for me! be creative with your insults! i encourage you to to let the hate flow but only towards this individual and his family!

i'm a peaceful person and am a minority myself but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do!! this inbred ape just seems to like the abuse and i got no problem dishing it out!

We can confirm by his voice that his Mom and Dad are brother and Sister.

i reported him to the FBI but i'm sure i'll hear from him again!

I have a Gut feeling after some minor re-search that these are people from India possibly Mumbai! using a skype type of software that also changes caller ID to whatever they want.  I gonna say they are probably harmless as long as you keep telling them to go F-themselves everytime, but they have some of your basic info and are trying to exstort money out of you! most indian people are good hardworking people i have no problem with there food or culture and honestly they come here and pay taxes and contribute like everyone else. But i encourage you in the privacy of your home to use the most profain language possible on these diaper headed sand F__k's.
