I reported this to AAA and they said that she is legitamite.  My husband renewed through her, and when I checked on our account with AAA, they said that everything was fine and that she was a representative of theirs.

When I checked the number online, it went to a AAA Retention location in Delanco, NY.  These people are paid specifically to get people to renew.  However, I'll be keeping a tight eye on our account and be ready to report fraud if anything goes awry.

I too received a few calls from 856-824-1559, there was no message left on my machine and everytime I call the number back there is never an answer.  I do not truxt this number where ever it is from and whomever it is.

many calls to our home from this number in the last few days, Sandra Shannon is on the caller ID.  We do not answer since we do not know that name. Does not leave message. Yes we have AAA that recently expired, not sure if we will renew or not, but if so we will go thru website; not someone like this.

It's not a scam, she is legit, she works for a company contracted by AAA to call people who's AAA membership has lapsed due to non-payment.

I get this call all the time, however I don't answer, as my phone is set up that any calls that are not in my directory and are given a ring, they don't ring on my phone.  I have never been a member of AAA, so not sure why they are bothering to call me, unless they are trying to get new business.  AAA knows about it, or they would stop these harrassing phone calls.

She keeps callling me.  I paid the 99 cents for a reverse look up of her number and got the address information of 427 Filmore Street, Riverside, NJ 08075.  I went to Bing Maps and looked it up with a satalite view.  What a dump.  Leads me to believe it is a scam.

This number shows up as Sandra Shannon and it's 1-856-824-1556. They call several times a day and leave no message. I have called and told them never to call me again, but to no avail. My next call is to the NJ Attorney Generals office.

She has called my home several times in the last week, hangs up when we answer and never leaves a message. She is, in my eyes a scammer! Beware!!!

VERY PUSHY, VERY ANNOYING AND ATTEMPTED TO GET INFORMATION FROM MY CHILD.  IF SHE REPRESENTS AAA THEN THEY NEED TO RECONSIDER WHO THEY HAVE SOLICITING BUSINESS FOR THEM OR AT THE VERY LEAST - REQUIRE HER TO TAKE A CLASS ON DEALING WITH THE PUBLIC AND APPROPRIATE ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOR. WOULD NOT RENEW WITH THIS PERSON - EVER.

I have reported her to AAA who found it highly irregular that someone is calling using their home # and not a 800 based number. I even had the customer service rep look up what we see here and the statements others have made concerning this. I only spoke to her once but she has called my house about 5 times since but never leaves a message. I did speak with her once and she was giving me the hard sell to renew with her because "online payment will take longer". I.kid.you.not. I immediately went and paid online and then called AAA to report her. What did they tell me? Oh we see you are current so why is someone calling you?

I want to speak with her again so bad....I am not home when she calls. I think I will have some fun with her.

got the call a few times...cant even unlock the phone fast enough to answer it! so i guess they really dont want me to talk.  I have no doubt its linked to AAA, i just cancelled my membership before the automatic renewal came up.  she said there was nothing more to do, i'm off the list.  however, a few more days after that then i get a call (i forget what #) but its AAA telling me the same thing the first lady did, except that they would send me a letter to verify that its closed.  A few days later is when the 856 # started calling me, but i've yet to be able to pick it up, even when i want to.  now at least i know what that number is about, so i will just program the number's ringtone to silent and ignore it when this comes in.    i love websites like this that you can help yourself beat spammers.

Call wifes cell phone saying that our AAA membership was expired...knowing it wasent and telling the girl that the call was dropped i hope im not going to get a phone bill for $2500 for listening to this bs

I received a call from this phone number from a woman who claims to be from AAA.  I don't know how she got my information but she wanted me to renew my membership.  However, she didn't sound like a regular telemarketer. I'm not sure how legitimate she is, but I will definitely report this.

My mother just received a phone call from this phone number and she does not answer the phone when you call back. She stated that she called about my mother's old car and asked if she lives on Walnut St. My mom stated that she was pushy, wanted her address and credit card information. She also stated that she was from the AAA center city office. This person is a scam.

Called me 3 times in the past 3 days, specifically after I told AAA to take me off their DNC list (after they had called me 1 million times leaving VM messages)

I, too, received a call from this "Sandra Shannon" and as soon as I answered the phone, the caller hung up.  If this person is representing AAA, then AAA needs to fire her and get someone who will represent the company favorably.

I work for a credit card company.  Today one of our card members contacted me concerned that she was scammed by a woman named Sandra Shannon who represented herself as AAA.  I contacted  AAA and spoke to one of the representatives named Max and he had his supervisor look into this concern. The representative explained that AAA has some Retention Agencys that work for them and some of thier employees work from home.  The Retention Agencys main responsibility is to contact AAA members when the membership expires.  Sandra Shannon in fact is a employee for AAA and when she calls it's NOT a scam.

I, too, have recently been receiving calls from this number but I did not answer them.  I googled the number and found this site. I will answer next time she calls and tell her to quit calling me as I have already renewed my account with AAA.

I don't know if she is from AAA or not.  She has called my home phone twice in that last week and did not leave a message on answering machine.  My caller ID shows the call is from Sandra Shannon.  I looked the phone number up and her address is 427 Filmore Street, Riverside, NJ 08075.  If she is representing AAA then why is she calling on their behalf from her home phone?  I don't trust this.  She can call here all she wants, but because I don't know her, she won't get a response from me until she leaves a message on my answering machine if she truly has business with me.  In fact, I am a member of AAA and on Monday morning I am calling AAA to find out if she is a representative of theirs.  If so, I intend to file a complaint with AAA about her.  If she needs to talk with me she needs to speak up a say so.  Otherwise, there will be no answering her calls.  We are on the DNC registry and all unknown calls are never answered.  I do look them up online to find out what I can about the number that calls.  If it is a telemarketer, I report these calls religiously to the Federal Trade Commission for violating the Federal Law.  One day the FEDS will knock on her door and any others that violate this law and slap them with a heafty fine.  One of these days telemarketers are going to understand the real meaning of NO!
