Someone by the name Jerry Vanick from Crime & Investigation Dept Washington DC called and threatened that there is a arrest warrant out for me. Totally Bogus

this number keeps calling my cell and I have my number on the do not call registry ..I have a block on it and it keeps leaving me message.... I do not owe them any thing....

Not a scam. It is ERA/PHH Mortgage. They started calling me about refinancing through the HARP program.  They are completely legit.

It is PHH MORTGAGE - They are a very disorganized company - They call constantly over what was a mistake made by them on my account . Even after faxing them a copy of the cancelled check in question they still call my work phone all day , everyday.

PHH MORTGAGE SERVICES is the culprit - real low life scumbag company - they will call every number they have hundreds of times. In my case they hadn't received payment ( it was sent on time and still within their grace period ) but they won't stop . Also , they have the rudest employees I have ever spoken with.

Morgan Stanley Mortgage services.  I submitted an application with them last week so they are legit.

this is my experience with them also. i hope not to be in this position again.

Caller ID said "New Jersey" They left me a message saying that they are the mortgage holder on my house.  They are NOT!  I have not called them back.

Don't know who called, she said her name was Amenda. I am on the Do Not List, yet I get these calls all the time. What good is that darn list!! I am not buying, I don't want any, and I wish that they would stop bothering me!!!!

Called our office at 8:27 AM. Caller ID said "MOORESTOWN NJ" <8569170050>. Hung up without leaving a message.

They called the office EARLY one morning to get an employment verification for an employee.

This number called my cell #.  How do places get your cell #?  I give it out to very few people (friends).
I do NOT answer my phone if I do not know who it is, and I don't return calls unless 1) they leave a message, and 2) I want to return the call in the first place!  
That's the beauty of Caller ID!  I only take calls from who I want to!

Called my work as a fax like a million times!!! I sent them back a fax to stop. Didnt work... UGH!

Actually, you are the moron. These scammers called me, too. I paid off my mortage 10 years ago.

Said they were PHH wanted to refi one of my Mortgages, sounded legit until he asked me for a credit card # in order to process the application. I said no way and the line mysteriously went dead??

Received a call, answered, there was no one there.  Hung up, they called right back, I answered, no one there.

As said its a legitimate Mortgage Service company working for a number of different banks.  Only calls I have gotten from them have been people I know are working on a new mortgate for me.  Best if you call the person directly or the bank that represents your mortgage.

That's not to say that someone else might be faking their number in order to scam you.

Well I received a call from "PHH Mortgage Services" about being late on my mortgage. Only problem is that I do not have a mortgage. Would be careful dealing with them. And no - not wrong number. Had this number for 29 years.

I missed a call from them, they left a message. They were updating me on my Mortgage payments. They were helping me stop my mortgage payment for the month. Since it was going to be delayed till January. So it was legit. Thankfully.

They just called me. I didn't answer.

I wish the people at this number would either respond when I answer or stop calling me. A waste of my time and cell minutes. Apparently, they never heard of the Do Not Call Lists.

I am not late on my mortgage. This is a fishing scam. Do NOT give them your information. They asked for my loan number, a bank routing number, and my social security. I told them to go F themselves.
