same story name Alfred McCain met thru match.com said from barrington illinois

I had the same thing to happen to me as did Concerned. Only difference was he told me that he lived on a Eastland Road in Fulton County in Atlanta, GA. He told me that he had lived in California up until about five years ago, his dad passed away and his mom moved back to England. He also told me that he had a seven year old son named Eric.

I received a text from someone claiming to be Jonathan Taylor.  He was on match.com and mentioned that he wanted to correspond through private email because his profile was about to expire. Ladies, he said all the things you would want to hear from a man, but the red flag was that he did not answer any questions I asked.  He said that he was a contractor doing work in the Philippines and that he would be returning to the states a week later.  A week later, when I asked when he would be back my question went unanswered, as did any other questions I asked.

This man sent me 2 texts using this 857-217-0198. He claimed to live in Atlanta.  

This person She / He is a scammer. There story was she was in the Philippines on business and ran into some tax trouble and owed an extra $25,000. Then amount went down tp $10,000 and then $4800 and finally $1900. She sent a money order of $1900 and wanted me to cash it and then send it back via western union, but knowing all along it was bogus. I did not send money I already new from previous conversations that something was up so I just played along. I am now going to tell her the money order is fraudulent and that should be the end of it. Any body out there do not send any money to anyone no matter how authentic they make it sound. She went as far as giving me her account # and pin # to prove she had money in her account here and would pay me back when she got here, but did not fall for it. Her acc said she had
$ 1,904,435.00 nothing but BS.
