the internet is a wonderful thing because it lets me look up this number and not feel at all guilty about not answering these calls instead of wondering if it is someone I should be talking to.

The message I get on my VM is from a Steller Recovery (at least that's what comes up when I look up the number they leave for a call back 877-936-1168).  They've been calling my cell phone at least once a day every single day of the week.  Seeing as I haven't received a single letter from them regarding this so called debt I'm just ignoring them and I've actually blocked their number.  Hopefully they'll go away!  If they send me a letter then I can send a POD to get more informaiton about this suposed debt but no letter then they can't harrass me. Total scum!

The thing a lot of you people do not understand is if you have Comcast service then these telemarketers are allowed to contact you even if you are on the Do Not Call list.. Is it right?? no but it's the way the law is set up.  So complaining about it does nothing.. Just call Comcast (or who ever these people say they represent) and ask them to please remove your number from their list.  Once you do that they are liable if they continue calling you.

Got a call from this number today, caller ID says "SENIOR WATCH".  Supposedly selling "Credit Monitoring" services, but when I asked for more information about the company, they said they would call back and then hung up.

As a result, I highly suspect this is a scammer.

It's not Comcast, it's a lowlife collection company. They buy the debt for pennies on the dollar and scare you into paying the full amount that you originally owed. There are reports circulating the internet that these lowlifes post fact comments to make you believe its a survey company so you answer the phone. Remember it's not Comcast it's a collection agency.

It's Verizon looking for money

I used a can of compressed air and horn and gave them a blast every time I get the call! I have been on the Do Not Call list since it started and Comcast isn't even in my area.

They've called me numerous times, They finally called when I was not at work and had a chance to pick up.  It's debt collection - thankfully, not me.  Simply explained they had the wrong number and they haven't called me since. It's been about 2 weeks now.

Been calling for a couple of months, never leave a message, this is their third number I'v blocked from my cell which I don't give out.

If it is Comcast, they are retarded.  I'm already a Comcast customer, and an automated message calls from this number asking for "Sink Powers" whoever that is.  Needless to say, I do not suffer from such an absurd name so I am not who they are looking for.  It gives me the option to press a number to indicate that Sink Powers does not live here, which I did.  I bet it won't help though... I've gotten many calls from this number before, all of which I missed until now.

The automated message didn't say who they actually were.  If it was Comcast, I'm sure they would have said so.

OMG they have called me 3 times, i picked up on the third call believing it might be a job offer calling me back. Tried to convince me that my current comcast contract was expired and now i had to pay over twice as much for the same services. idk what kind of sales tactics this is, but after hanging up and lividly calling comcast customer service demanding answers, i was reassured that my current rates would not increase and that the information i was told by this number was COMPLETELY WRONG. do not trust this number and do not listen to a word they say. Hang up immediately they are disgusting money grubbers!

This call is for a customer feedback survey that follows any new or changed service you have done by Comcast.  I've been ignoring it, but I think I'm going to call Comcast and have my number removed from the Survey.  I think Broadview is Comcast's customer survey vendor.

The company name market lite they work in conjunction with comcast,they are teller marketing company offering ecials for comcast and other various cable companies..They got your number through cable company. If you call back the number they tell you how to get off the calling list.Its all automated.....I'm off there list.

One thing to keep in mind about the do not call list is that its only for unsolicited or "cold calls".  A company that you have a relationship with (Comcast for your cable, Verizon as your phone carrier , you own a Ford car, etc) can call you for various promotions or whatever and not be in violation of the do not call list.

as long as you use their service (Comcast) they can call, since you do business with them.
