These people left a message and said they were from Bankers Life & Casulty Company. They said they "saw your resume online" and wanted to offer me a job!. Yeah right!. It was an indian lady saying she was in Bangor Maine, yet the number has a Massacusetts area code. I'm thinking this a newer kind of marketing or some other type of scam.

This number is from Banker's Insurance, headquartered out of Boston.  If you have recently put a resume on the internet, they undoubtedly will be trying to contact you.
