I got yet another call from this BS number and once again I picked up the phone and hung it right back up.These pest are more fools calling about the puppet show called the presidential elections like I said in my other post.Do these people not realize more and more Americans are seeing through their 2 party scam?? Call after call after call.!?!? I already KNOW who I'm voting for. They're not going to change my mind! Please people... If you talk to them, never, NEVER ask them to take you off their list! Tell them to ADD you to their "do not contact" list. See the difference here? It's a sneaky trick they do to people who don't know the difference between the two. If you tell them to take you off their list, it means to them that you want to be taken off their do not contact list...that you actually WANT them to call. This is why you keep getting all these calls from the same entities. Their "list" is not the phone numbers they are going to call, their "list" is a "do not contact" list.

Romney campaign political robo-call which I did not fully listen to since I wouldn't vote for Romney under any circumstances.

I called this number and left a message, requesting that they remove my number from their list.

THERE'S your problem!  You asked them to REMOVE you from their list.  This means that you wish to be REMOVED from their "do not contact list".  You need to tell them to ADD you to the do not contact list...AND to send you a copy of their do not contact list.  If they fail to do this, you are entitled to sue them for damages (by the wording in the Telephone Privacy Protection Act).  I know, I know...good luck finding them though.

Don't just say "Remove me from your list!  That tells them that you WANT to be contacted.

it is a scam by the republicans. if you read above and see the ploy to get someone to return an absentee ballot and tonight i called the number back after the robocall that stated it was the romney for president, inc. it turned out it was "working america" working on behalf of Elizabeth Warren and paid by the aflcio. so the robo call lied about their number. probably trying to get people like us to call the number and say take us off your list so we get less calls from the opposition.
