It's from a company called Proptery Direct. They were asking about my timeshare. They probably want to list it for a fee and do nothing to try and sell it or rent it for timeshare owners.

Caller (Ashley) called to us to tell us someone wants to give us some whopping big price on our timeshare. Somehow they knew a lot of info on us and our timeshare property. I guess by public records. Go on line and see all the timeshares on line for sale at penny's on the dollar. So why would this company have anybody willing to pay the corporate price for ours. What a scam!!!! Don't give them any money!!!!!!!!!! You will never see it again.

Oswald Freeman must work for them and is defending their "illegal" practices. A timeshare like mine is a deed and title. As such it is treated as a real estate transaction no matter what state it is in. As such an upfront fee is not needed and may be sold the same as you sell a home. If they are requesting an upfront fee this not required and as such should be persued. If you should get a call from any of these companies saying they have a "buyer" ask them to send you a offer letter with the buyers information. I doubt they will be willing to provide this. Also you can ask them to place all "closing" or broker costs in their offer letter to be paid by the buyer. I have had 2 companies such as this shut down by contacting the DRE (Department of Real Estate". I would suggest any others who have been taken by these companies contact them as well as the Better Business and your local State Attourney General. Also make them leave messages on your voicemail or recorder so that you hav proof when you take them to court. I was able to collect triple of what they attempted to take from me in the tate of California.

We were called from 857-488-3912 also and were told that they had a buyer for our timeshare. They they had an offer on it from an overseas buyer and wanted us to contact them if we were interested in selling. After talking with Travis Miller he and his manager assured us that there were no up front fees. They faxed me a purchase agreement. The next day I talked with them again and was told if it did not sell because the buyer backed out our transfer fee would be refunded and also stated that after the sale we would receive our transfer fee along with our check. They have even given us a closing date. They also state it is a done deal after we send them the 1700 for the tranfer. They sounded very profesional, and answered all my questions. If this is a scam why have they not been sued or investigated? I found this site before I sent them any money, sounds like I am glad.

We got a call on Aug.29, 09. They called themselves Propertys Direct. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. We got took for $2,100.00 for a one time sellers fee. the woman assured us our timeshare was SOLD and we would close in 4-6 weeks. We have not heard one word form "Crystal Evans or Emily" or any other associate. I feel that certain we have lost our twenty on hundred dollars and the only way to stop this maddness is to TELL THE REST OF YOU DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. PROPERTYS DIRECT IS A SCAM.

Again from Property Direct - they want to sell my timeshare for a fee up front - "Scam" proposals from several companies are being called in every 2/3 weeks. There are so many properties for sale on the internet there is just about NO CHANCE of a sale that way.
