A person keeps calling my employer over and over again like 20 times in a row so I called the number and wanted to know what this was about? Only thing said it was over a payday loan source which I have never used in my life. I ask the name of the company using him and his company and got nothing. Then I went off on him and he hung up. I'm relieved and angered that I'm not the only one trying to be scammed. I'm in the state of FL.

These are hackers and they are trying to extort money.  They called my work about 300 times in an hour.  Please help, does anyone know how to get them to stop??

I have been getting the same guy. I was happy to have my suspicions confirmed.

I have had the same caller "Dexter Scott" as Mark has. This man has been calling my work harassing my coworkers. He claims to be from a cash advance service whom I have never used. I have been calling back trying to figure out what is going on and they say they'll keep harassing my work until I pay. I told them that I knew they were trying to scam me and he told me he'll do what he has to do.

This man calls saying that he has a legal issue to speak about, but won't identify the company or any specifics. Have no clue what he's talking about. He says his name is Mark Foster. Very rude, belligerent, and threatening. He adheres to no rules a legitimate debt collector would. Within 3 hrs he called approximately 300 times.

This caller is calling a business phone and tying up the phone lines preventing legitimate business calls from going through.  A name was given: "Dexter Scott" .

This man is is rude and biligerant turn him in to the Marshalls and he scoffed at him...wont say who his is or whom the company is.   In two days he has made about 200 calls to me and my employer.  hes crazy!!!!

Trying to collect on an old payday loan which is illegal in the state of Arkansas.  He was very threating and gave false information trying to get me to call back using scare tactics. Hope no one falls for this and actually pays this guy who is probably sitting at home in India.

Same thing.  He called me 8 times, left a voicemail with my social security number, and didn't say what it was about.  When called, the caller replied in a heavy accent that he was collecting said he was collecting a (false) debt, and when I told him that it was against the law NOT to inform me that he was collecting a debt, and that I was NOT consenting to the recording of the call (in WA, both parties must consent to the recording of a call, and I did not consent).  In addition, he then told me that he WAS recording the call, and was going to hang up and call my employer.  As far as I can tell, he broke at least three laws and even though I am not an attorney, however I do know that it's against the law for any collector to call an employer unless the debtor is in the military.

I love this guy.  The number shows to be a landline near Boston.  I'd like to have lunch with him.  Sounds like a real gem.

This call is from a company that claims to be collecting a debt from a pay dayloan source. They are very threatening and do not adhere to any rules and regulations that a legitimate collector would adhere to. Weekend u told then I read going to call my attorney they told me to SLEEP with him! Needless to saythey started calling my place of employment and in a time spam of 3 hours, thru must have called 50 times! The police was called out and the calls seem to have come to an end.
