I had a call from Ms. Williams claiming to be calling from an attorney's office collecting a debt. I told her I had no on-line loan debt. She said her office would have to press charges thanks to the comments on-line while talking to her I was reading I told her I was an attorney and ask fro her information she hung up the phone.

This same Oliva Sampson person called me too WTF. This totally has to be  a scam she demanded payment and said she was a fraud investigator.

A lady named Olivia Sampson called from YMA Associates Attorney at Law saying she was collecting a debt.  Sounded very professional and knew all our information.  The debt was from an online cash company.  My husband thought they were legit because they had our correct info.  She was willing to take two payments.  I tried to tell him to have them send the documentation through the mail and then we would deal with them.  He didn't.  He went ahead and scheduled two payments with them.  She told him that in 7-10 days we would receive confirmation on the transaction.  A couple of days later, after the first payment went through, another company called saying they were collecting on that same debt.  He assured us that his company was assigned to the debt collection.  My husband explained to him what had happened.  That person told us that we needed to verify what company the original company gave our debt to.  We did and found out we had been scammed by the first company.  There was no way of stopping the payment because the bank said we authorized the payment.  Funny thing is, the second company hasn't called us back either.  Were they another scam outfit?  Today I received another call from a company trying to collect on a debt that had already been paid off.  I told them I didn't do business over the phone and for them to send me the documentation in the mail.  He told me that a summons had been taken out on my husband and they were ready to act upon it and they weren't going to overnight the documentation.  I told him that was fine, send me the documentation through the mail.  He said he would see my husband in court and hung up on me.  This too was a scam.  Bottom line, ask for documentation through the mail.  The crooks won't send it because it is a federal offense.

some one call me from this number saying they are from wachovia saying something about a return check.
