Voicemail sounded like a call center then hung up.

I was working a fatal crash and getting many calls from other officers. This # popped up and being a local area code I answered it . The telemarketer started her spiel. I tried to interrupt her several times, and finally YELLED at her to get her to stop. I told her what I was involved in and told her not to call back ever, she said, " Mr Dan I understand you're busy can I call you back in a half hour? CLICK .

Its sad when you're own cable company or someone pretending to be your cable company hounds you daily just to up their sales. I've never had this problem with AT&T and Cox I think you're about to get fired if this happens a bit more. Don't try to sell me anything other than what I ask for and what part of don't call me doing so didn't your offices get? I'd like to get a whip and beat the living shizz out this idiot that keeps calling, thats how much calls I've gotten.. Hell I even filed a report about the excessive calls. All I need now is a name to pin the rap on and get them in court for harassing / stalking. "Breathing in the phone and not saying anything three times a day". The number has changed three times in as many weeks and still the calls are coming in, even though I'm on the national registry, and even though the number is listed as private. Cox Cable is definitely going to get fired should I get another call here anytime soon.

Spoke with someone who sounded like he was in a boiler room operation. He was trying to get me to upgrade my Cox Cable service. I hung up on him after a few minutes.

Unsolicited call, was at work and didn't recognize the number so I didn'[t answer. They didn't leave a message.

They called, waited for my voicemail to kick in, breathed into the receiver for 10 seconds or so, then hung up without saying anything.

Claimed she was from COX, trying to sell my dead mother TV; when I told her that she started asking the kind of stuff any burglar would ask, like "so is there currently anyone living at XXX address?" to which I replied it was none of her damn business.

Every Saturday and Sunday morning this number calls me. I am also on the DNC list - but that seems to do no good at all. Doing some research, I see that many people on the DNC list keep receiving these calls -and have made numerous complaints.

So our government can setup these systems - then fail to enforce them?

Telemarketers pushing Cox Communications (Las Vegas) products call me at least twice a month from various local and 800 numbers. I received one of such calls from this number. Cox is a company I have business with, and would cease immediately were it not for their corner/monopoly on the local high speed Internet market. Their relentless marketing, including such telemarketing calls, is obnoxious at best. Asking to be removed from their call lists is pointless, to the point where I must assume making such a request immediately places you on their premium, call-incessantly-preferred-customer list. Maybe it doesn't help that I scream vehemently at every single telemarketer who continues to call me claiming to represent any faction of Cox Communications.

The guy was selling tv contracts.  After his speel I politely told him I was not interested and mentioned to him I wante his company to take my name and number off their list.  He was too friendly and asked  if I wanted to gI've him a contact number, he thought I was a homosexual and when I told him his comany probably records the calls he immediately hung up.  My calls are recorded at this time and I was able to make a formal complaint and include the recorded message.

I have asked them to stop calling since I am on the DCL but that has not stopped them.  Since I have a court order to have all calls recorded this timing worked out great.  There is a site called TOPIX where you can post without signing up.

I've asked to be removed from Time Warner marketing on my mobile phone. Not only they didn't do this, Time Warner put me on an automated marketing service that reliably calls me every morning of every day using the number 858-300-6882. How to stop Time Warner from doing this?
