Hi Manda, I doubt they are legit too when the first time they called and the lady told me that SMS didn't stand for anything, that tells me they are just bottom feeding telemarketers.  They called again today and I sent the call to the same extension without voicemail.  This time they were smarter (and I use that term very loosely) and only let it ring for 2 minutes before hanging up.

The Lady who called today and the other day is Pushy and says "Can you get Alan (the owner), I need to talk to him right away".  When she didn't identify herself or her company, I said he was unavailable, to which she said "great, I'll call back tomorrow".  and then promptly hung up on me before I could tell her that he wouldn't be there tomorrow...or the day after that...or EVER for that matter with her attitude.

But Hey, SMS could be a legit company...I highly doubt it with THOSE sales tactics though.

They called again today.  I sent the call to an extension with out voice mail.  The guy allowed the phone to ring for three full minutes before giving up and hanging up.  What a moron.

Some woman called in claiming that representatives from their company had stopped by last week to try and make an appointment with the owner (whose name she butchered).  That's a bald faced lie.  I'm the receptionist with the company and unless they were here while I was on break, no one from SMS (which doesn't stand for anything she said) came by wanting an appointment with the owner.  When I was asking her questions about the company she was calling from, she hung up on me. It was hard to understand her anyway since the mic on her headset was so close to her mouth and she was talking so loud the sound was distorted.

called asking for the owner by first name as if she knew him personally.  Told her he was on the other line, and asked if I could take a message.  Abruptly said "no, i'll call back" and then hung up.  Unprofessional to say the least!!!  Adding to my List of Do Not Answer Numbers.

Guy asks a lot of questions about managing partners.  Will not state his business clearly.  Said his name was Jerry Brown.

They are some kind of solicitors and they are extremely persistant & pushy.  If they get your company address, they will show up and say the have a meeting scheduled.

This is definitely a scam...Very pushy, will not direct to a website that has more information, will not say who other clients are, will not send a brief description of their services other than to say they are also working with other members of "our industry" in our area.  To top it off, want to schedule an appointment with a representative because they are "just now" in the area.  I have to say, I never hang up on anyone and I did on this guy.

I keep getting calls from this number as well. He is very pushy and always tries to talk to the owner about "business development." Will not give details about projects or what kind of work they actually do. He says he is calling from Jerry Bransford's office, but I can't find any information about them on the web.

This guys called me already twice. I couldn't take a call thinking that they would leave a message but they didn't. I guess they dont want to leave any traces...

VERY RUDE, HARRASSING and UNPROFESSIONAL!  Do not answer a call from this number if you dont' want to be harrassed!
