Update:
This is one of those "services" that "trade magazines" use to try to get you (or your business) to subscribe to their junk mail.
They get you on the phone, and ask you to confirm the mailing address, and ask questions that end with, "Is that okay?" You are being recorded. When you say, "Yes, that's okay," and "Yes, that's correct," they BILL you for their junk.
When you try to say you didn't order that subscription, they pull out the recording. "You said it was okay."

Dummies. Want them to stop? Report them. No report, no stop, don't whine here, this isn't the FCC.

I've received 2 phone calls in the last week from this phone number showing up on caller ID. It's a robo call that apparently is talking to our answering machine because by the time it gets to the time to record a message all I hear is it saying "thank you for your time". Not going to bother calling it back at this point to figure out what they want.

Apparently pressing 2 doesn't work, as they called again...

Called several times today. I let it go to voice mail, but they did not leave a message. Typical telemarketing M.O.

Only the number comes up in caller I.D., no name, and when we answer it, there's no one there. My suspicion is that it's nothing but a robo-call to see if the number is operational, or not.

Call received on google voice number.
Automated message:
"....
Your subscription to New Equipment Digest is about to end. Press 1 to continue your subscription.
...
Press 2 to cancel your subscription.
...
Thank you for your time."
I listened to the message without a word or button press and it hung itself up after the above comments.
Sounds like this is a scam.
My number is now listed on the DNC Registry.

Automated call for Material Handling magazine subscription.
Press 1 to continue receiving.
Press 2 to discontinue / cancel.
Pressed 2. Hope it works as we get a ton on free mags and
they get tossed in the dumpster, directly from the mail box.

They called here at 6:51 A.M. My husband answered. The call woke me angrily. My husband said they were trying to sell some sort of "packaging"? We recently opened a small business. So I am assuming that they surf the new business and scam folks from there. NEVER call me that early or during the dinner hours!

Got two calls from this number, message left after a long pause was "thank you for your time". Initial message may have been given while my answer machine was doing it's greeting, but I'll never know.
