Received a call from "Isabella" asking for our CEO.
After asking what the call was in regards to she said she was with Merchant Associates and calling about our credit card processing. I then asked what the call was in regards too and she said she was a third party vendor to who we use for processing and she wanted to recognize our CEO and Company....What a crock.
I told her he was not in and took the message. Looked up Mechant Associates, their based out of San Diego which matches with the phone number. I called back and the same voice answered but only with a hello, not a hello this is Jane from XYZ Co. very odd answer in my opinion.

other forums say this is a hacker trying to verify your number so that they can make charges to your account like amazon.com. I received this call after I went on-line to amazon.com for the first time in a long, long time so that makes me think the forums are true. check all your accounts esp if you have an amazon.com account. a call from 925-298-6038 came in about the same time with same behavior.

They called me after I called the IRS... that doesn't make me feel safe at all.
They called, hung up, then I called back (Stupid me) but I heard nothing. So just don't answer, it's pointless.
