My call came at 12:59AM ... That's right! I was all snug as a bug in a rug in my nice and toasty bed and my office line rang just before 1:00AM. Needless to say, I dare didn't answer as I didn't know the number and I have a vacant apartment that I'm trying to rent out. I'm not answering calls from people I don't know after 8PM.

So today I have a fax from this number and when I went to retrieve it, nothing printed ... ???

This is a Scam do not listen to them!!!!

Person with middle eastern accent called wanting to purchase airline tickets as we are a travel agency.  There was a lot of background noise.   He needed a ticket from San Juan to Santiagofor Robert inaudible last name.  When advised I would need an imprint of his credit card and original signature, he hung up.

I received an automated message on my voicemail from 858-427-6434 on 11/23 that said:

Bank of America We regret to inform that your Employment Development Department debit card has been limited due to internal security error, to attend this issue, please press 1 now.

Of course, I don't have a B of A debit card and have had my phone number for over 10 years. Scam.

Call from this number came in a 7:02pm. No message was left. CaIler ID says "BLOCK." I called back: "call cannot be completed at this time."

Called and no answer hung up

Same here when I called back after an urgent left message.  A man with the same voice answered and then when I asked the name of company was told federal consumer protection act.   I then inquired as to what was needed and the same guy who left the message and answered phone pretented to transfer me.  I advised that if this was some kind of scam or misrepresentation I would take legal action.  At this point he hung up t

additional info on the call from this number: he says his name is Mr. Brown and I remember it because my last name is also Brown. He has an Indian accent . Accdg. to the Do Not Call Registry, you can file a complaint if you have registered your number already and give them the 427-6434 number and they will block this specific number from calling you again...how effective this is, I don't know. Also I ran a reverse trace on the number and it is said to be a landline in San Diego near Hillcrest.

My wife Received a call from someone with a thick accent telling her that her computer is infected with a virus.  When my wife told the guy she's not interested in buying his computer services and to stop calling, he threatened her and told her that NO ONE can make him stop and he's going to keep calling!

I received a strange call this morning about 7 am and a man kept saying "Hello", then he said a four letter word and hanged up.

Call came in from "Ryan Potterson" -- accented voice -- claiming to have a pachage for us from Comsumer Protection Agency.  Asked us to phone back to 202-370-7638, ext 108

The person calling said to call back at 202-370-7639 Claiming he was an Agent Clayton at ext. 104.  But my caller id shows an 858-427-6434 number....what is going on?

A rude man by the name of Chris Brown called both my mother and my employer today claiming to be an attorney and said that I was being sued and had a case pending in court.  He has called three times since 11am this morning.  He has also called from 1-707-832-4632.
