They called us tonight at our home claiming their were trying to reach a neighbor, that the neighbor had not answered their phone, and they "were worried."  They asked my wife to please leave our neighbors a note to call them.   Thinking it was a worried friend, we were going to leave a note but decided to Google the phone number first.  

The number on the caller id was 858-536-9007.  the person claimed to be named "Dino."

Received a call from Marie at 858 577 3636. She ask that I contact a neighbor Andy on my street who recently moved there from NY.

I went to the address to leave the note and found out that our new neighbor was not named Andy.

This is a call that should not have happened as we are on the "do not call list".  I think someone should go after GC services for violating this list. Taking advantages of good Samaritan neighbors like this is not appropriate.

I live in an apt complex and the neighbor came over saying that "Donnie" at 858-577-3636 just HAD to get in touch with me.  Neighbor explained that she lived next door to me, but was kind enough to take down the name and number and bring it over to me.

WHAT A SCAM!  I have an excellent credit rating and there is NO REASON a collection agency should be calling me, or for that matter, bothering my neighbor.

This number was given to me by my neighbor, an elderly lady whom I don't know well.  I live in townhouses and evedently they found the phone number to the lady living in the house next to me and called her accross the country and asked her to have me call them.  These people have some nerve.  I think this is the same people who called my ex husbands mom, dad and brother trying to get my phone number.  How embaraccing and they lie too and said that I listed their numbers on the application for a credit card.  I am changing my number again but feel bad for everyone they will harrass.  They have a right to harrass me but they have no right to harrass people who hardly even know me and they are sick of it too.  I feel like telling them that I am waiting for my government bail out to come in the mail...or better yet tell them what I owe should be covered in full including late fee's from the government bail out check they got.  I don't mean to sound immature but I am disabled and on disability and unmarried.  Why do they hound me with credit offers.  I intended to pay them back but had surgrey and was late just a couple days on my cards and the next thing they jacked my rate and slamed me with fee's.  I then fell for trying to get help with a debt managment company who destroyed my credit by not makeing the payments before the due date event though I was paying on time and they did not reduce my fee's and they acted like it would take a few years when in reality I found out it would be over 10 years.  Meanwhile their missmanagement was costing me more than I ever could have imagined.  I have given up.  I have no assets and get social security for me and my two sons which means I am well below the poverty level.  There is no way I could pay the money back.  I don't know if I should default or go bankrupt.  I don't have money for a lawyer either.  I know I am not alone and that banks are hurting.  I wonder if this is going to become an epedemic problem.  The economy is looking really scary.  Again, I used my credit card to get buy out of neccessity but it ended up snowballing over me when I got sick.  I have tried to work and unable.  I just wanted to second that this number is from california and they are debt related.

This place is GC Services... seems like a collections agency.  They called me and when I told them I was not the person they were looking for they got very nasty and hung up when I asked to speak with a supervisor
