called back & got a bitchy receptionist who assured me they're not soliciting but then told me they recruit healthcare workers - when I told her this is not my industry so as good as soliciting to me she said 'well we wouldnt call for no reason so there must be a reason' and suggested i pick up next time - I asked her to be sure I never got a call again, gave her my number, she said "OK" and hung up on me. terrible!

if you are a nurse or work in health care you are getting this call because they are a recruiting agency.

this isn't a telemarketer or a scam. this # is for American Mobile Healthcare (travel nursing company.)  If you receive a call from them it's because you submitted an application to them. First I googled the #, and saw this website.  Then I called the # back to see what the deal was, they connected me to a recruiter, who explained that she had my application from several years ago, and wanted to help me find a new job if I was looking. (I forgot I applied to them because it was a long time ago...before I had a hubby and kids!)  I said I wasn't interested, and she asked me if I wanted to inactivate my file or should she call me in a few months.  I asked her what that means and she said that they will put my application on inactive status, and she won't call me anymore, but that I could call her anytime in the future if I wanted to change jobs. I said that sounded good and she hasn't called me since (this was a few weeks ago, so we'll see if I get another call from them!)  She was very nice about this...but if she calls again I will re-post.

Got a call from this phone on my cell phone with music playing, no message, nothing. What is going on? IS this spam??? Can we do something about it?

I just received a call from this number. No one said anything, no music, no sounds, no background noise, nothing. All my caller ID said was "California". I did a reverse search on Superpages.com, and the results said the number belongs to AMN Healthcare Service Inc 12400 High Bluff Drive 100, San Diego, CA 92130 (also listed as American Mobile Healthcare).

I don't know if it's spam, telemarketing or what, since there was nothing on the other end.

I received a call at 6:03 AM my time from this number. Called and had  my number taken out of their system..we'll see if it works.

I just received a call from this number.  Didn't say who she was - just Hi tracy I'm trying to track down someone at your company - I was like say that again.  She said do you have a gentleman working for you?   Told her no and she hung up. Good thing we don't give out any info.

I received an elevator music call just now and they played music, only music, nobody spoke anything. I called back and the female operator said they are an unemployment agency. I said what's the name, she said american mobile healthcare. She was not apologetic at all. She was rather rude, like I was the one bodering her. It's that number 1-858-792-0711. Why would they do this?

It belongs to American Mobile Healthcare. They are a travel nurse company out of CA.

Got one from this # too.  Just beeped at me.  Called them back and got an operator.  They said they were a staffing agency.

Serial dialing, more than 5 calls per hour, over multiple hours. The number is supposed to belong to a health care company in CA.
