By your own definition "an American is anyone from the continent of America".  Since I was born in Los Angeles, California and my ancesters for many generations were also born "in America", I guess you are all right with me and my family even though I have blue eyes.

I would like to correct you on a couple of points though.  Although I am blue eyed, I never stole anything from a Mexican although unfortunately I cannot say the same about Mexicans stealing from me.  I'm not blaming anyone, stuff happens when you live only a couple of miles from the Tijuana border.  If you are referring to the United States "stealing" Mexican lands, well we did purchase some in 1854 for $10 million.  In my opinion, whatever lands folks think were stolen are better off for it.  If not, why are 12 million undocumented aliens living here in the U.S.?  For one reason only, because they feel the U.S. provides them a better opportunity.

I also am not responsible for enslaving anybody.  I believe the Emancipation Proclamation was also signed in 1862, freeing former slaves.  I have also had the opportunity to visit several African countries and though slavery is a terrible thing I truly believe that most Africans are better off living in the U.S. than their relatives who are still in Africa.  That is just my opinion, not a racial statement so don't get any ideas.  

The bottom line is that people are people.  God made us all and we need to rise above the nonsense of finger-pointing, stereotyping, and name calling.  We will all be better human beings for it.

Some one call me at my cell telling me that i won something.....

The way that i hear from this all start vacation , was thru a radio station that was promoting a "FrEE" stay for a hotel in orlando or daytona or puerto rico. I called the number the radio station gave me and then paid the (free) taxes $205.oo and then they send me a voucher ( that looks like a flier) I am worry now , i have booked the hotel stay and have not hear from them at all. I would like my money back just because i am ery about all this comments, but i do remember that back a year a go my friend did the same thing and we did get to stay at a hotel quote on quote "FREE' in las vegas. i would like to hear of any other information regarding this besides the phone calls. After more than 40 reports to the FTC's do not call list and two letters to the FCC I can finally say i've been call free since July!  Just goes to show what a little persistance can do.

Just so that you can get your facts straight: The company (telemarketer) that has been dialing your Verizon phones is NOT All Star Market NOR Mega Travel NOR any other company that Giacaman/Salgado are related to. On the contrary, the people that you are looking for are people that know that Mega Travel is a reputable and respected travel agency and have therefore ILEGALLY used the name "Mega Travel" to conduct business; thereby intending to taint Mega Travel's name and reputation. Verizon is aware of this and is proceeding accordingly.

I have received several calls from this number, all of which I hung up after hearing Spanish on the line.
I dont understand much Spanish, and that seemed to be the best course of action.

I sent a letter to the below demanding they cease all contact.  Thus far I have not received a call since June 21st.

Yea...just got called by them for the first time and it seems like it may continue.  I hope this lawsuit hurries up.

Got a call again today!  Lawsuit doesnt mean anything to these people.

Received a call from the notorious 859-212-1501 on June 28, 2007.  Today another person in my office had a call on her cell phone from the same number.  So, the jerks are still at it.  Please keep working on this scam.

I received a call from this number, no voicemail message.

On the other phone, cell rang with the 859-212-1501 number displayed. Was not able to answer call and there was no message. So, I tried to call back several times on different phones and got a fast busy signal - Go figure. Have got the same call on my land-line which is unlisted and they have left a message in spanish. From what I could pickup, it was about a prize.

What the hell, I got called again today.  I hope it stops soon.

received a spanish language message, unable to understand any of it.  I am on the "DO NOT CALL LIST"

yup, got two calls in the last week from this number, same thing, pre recorded message in espanol.

I've never answered any of these, since its to a cell phone I normally only used for outgoing traffic. However, these are still annoying and they are happening through 28 June, not respecting the legal action mentioned above.
