The best way to stop this phone calls are to pay all your bills, or if you can not pay your bills, fills a bankruptcy period.

STOP calling!!! Every 20 minutes or whenever they feel like pushing the button to dial again!!!
I have a CITI CARD and am not late with any payments. I am on the "do not call list" and have filed a complaint against them. Also called authorities on this company. Just hang up on when you see this number calling.

I agree with you about Sears making some poor decisions in their business. We've given them chances several times and it always ends up the same. A few years ago they stopped honoring their lifetime guarantee on some of their tools. When we originally bought them, they had a lifetime warranty - just bring them in, give them your phone number, and the tool is replaced. So there was no need to keep piles of empty packages around for proof. Now if you don't have the original packaging on those tools, they are no longer replaced.  We buy our tools elsewhere now. Too bad for them too, as we purchase a lot of them. Also, since that policy change on tools, we no longer buy ANYTHING from Sears. We're not going to purposely support a business that will not honor their warranties.

wouldn't be so bad if the jack***es would actually stay on the phone. They call about 6 times a day, when I pick up they hang up. Called them back, citibank answered, I don't have a citibank account!!? But they still like to call me.

They call, don't leave a message,so I called them back. They say they are citibank, asked for my name, and wanted my social #. I told them to take me off their call list and I refused to give them my social number in case they are scamming. If they call me and need to speak with me, they can leave me a message and a number to call them back and what its reguarding. They also told me they won't stop calling. Isn't there a law about harrassment!?!!!!

didn't recieve a call. just wanted to say, maybe they wouldn't have needed the bailout if people like you all paid your bills on time. you figure if one million accounts are past due by an average of $2.00 each thats what two million dollars. that adds up very fast, and with nearly 300 million accounts.... do the math.

TELL THEM THAT CITY BANK JUST RECEIVED MULTI "BILLIONS" OF MY TAX DOLLARS AND REFUSES TO TELL ME WHAT THEY HAVE DONE WITH IT. I CONSIDER THEM MY CREDITOR. THAN TELL THEM THEY CAN DEDUCT WHAT I OWE THEM FROM WHAT THEY OWE ME AND LET ME KNOW WHEN I CAN EXPECT MY NEXT RE-PAYMENT. AND OH BUY THE WAY WHAT DID YOU SAY THE INTEREST RATE YOU ARE PAYING FOR MY TAX DOLLARS IS.  I SEEM TO HAVE MISSED THAT

These people call day and night.  I thought there were hours like 8am to 8pm.  If there is these people violate the rule repeatedly, and they just found out my new cell number and have started calling, they have even called in the middle of the night, also have called my mother daily, looking for me or my husband, she doesn't even live with us.  They need to be stopped, this is crazy.  The thing is I don't even have any cards with them.  And I'm being harrassed.

Yeah, my Sears card is $25 past due, a week.  They started calling again.  I've had a Sears card for twenty-five years, but I cut it up.  The economy is killing most of us, and they start acting like vultures.  My parents have had a Sears card since 1959 (or whenever they started issuing them), so we've been loyal customers a LONG time.  If Sears thinks this is going to help them, they're nuts.  Their empty stores are gonna stay empty, and people won't forget how badly they were treated during a tough time.  I will never walk into a Sears again, even when I get back "on my feet."  Dumb moves in difficult times.  Does CitiBank own Sears?  What's the deal?  Circuit City and Sears are dying, so maybe desperate companies take this route??

My mother received a call from somebody claiming to be with Citibank demanding to know my current phone number and address. When she refused, they verbally abused her and even threatened her. She is very old and was visibly shaken after this horrible encounter. It is a shame these thugs are allowed to treat people this way.

They call my 11 yr. old daughters # daily about 5 or 6 times a day. I have told them repeatedly to stop calling they claim they are looking for someone named Barbra.  Today they told her if she was lying to them about not knowing this person she would be punished and could go to jail.  She was scared to say the least.  Is there anything I can do about this.

This is a medical office and they keep calling asking for a former employee about a Citgo card. I've told them many times not to call and that they are now in violation of the law by now continuing to call our offices but they will not stop calling. When asked for them to provide further company information about themselves, they hangup.

Putting your number on the do not call list will do no good IF you have a business association with the caller, IE Credit Card, Loan Company ETC. IF you do not have ANY association with the caller, then it should work.

It turns out the call was legitimate. I called Union 76's number as indicated on the gas card. I identified myself and was told I had missed my minimum payment of (.... )seven days ago.  I had mislaid my bill. I quickly arranged payment. The rep was courteous and helpful. The important thing is the customer should initiate the call to assure legitimacy.
