I got a call from 859-486-2333 and since I didn't recognize the number (it displayed Unknown Name), I didn't answer it. My answering machine picked up,but, no message was left. I suspect the call was made to my cell phone, but, to save the battery, I forward calls to my home phone.

I got the same call, also from Brian Hern. Logged into Fidelity's website and confirmed that it IS his number. 800-544-0162, x4663. They confirmed that his call logs showed that he had just spoken to me. I had the same suspicions, but this appears to be on the up and up.

Got a call from this #.  I answered it.  Nothing on the other end.  It disconnected about the same time I was going to hang up.

Received message on answering machine from this number. Provided different call back number: 1-800-544-0162. Return call answered "Fidelity Investments" then continued to ask personal details to "confirm your account." Either (1) a scam OR (2) a horrendous actual business practice.

I recieved a call on my answering machine from this number and the womans voice stated that she was working for Fidelity and wanted to discuss registration changes to my account.   She wants me to call 1-800-544-0162 x2951, her name is Jerry Scalley?. I called Fidelity and they do not recognize this phone number or the name.

Do not give out sensitive information to a person who calls if you do not know who they are.

got a call at 1:30pm today on my cell phone from this number. Let it go to voice mail with no message left
Tried calling the number and got the "this number is disconnected" message

I received a call this afternoon on my cell from 859-486-2333. I see people commenting that it's from Fidelity, but I don't ave any accounts with Fidelity. I've had this number for over 6 years. They didn't leave a message.

I received a call from this number and they did leave a message on my answering machine. It was from Fidelity concerning my IRA account. I haven't returned the call as yet, but it appeared to be legit.

I recieved a call from this number and he stated that he was working for Fidelity and wanted to discuss my account.  I did not think this was strange till my daughter stated that she had a call from them also on the caller id. I checked my phone and sure enough this was the same phone number.  I could not talk for long as I was at work. He wants me to call with a follow up call @ 1-800-544-0162 x4663, his name is Hern,Bryan. I am very concerned and will call Fidelity tomorrow and ask about this situation and make sure that my account is secure.

Incidentally, I forgot to mention in my previous comment, I tried to call the number back (859-486-2333), and got the telephone company recording, "The number you have reached is not in service".

Got a call from 859-486-2333 on my cell phone at 10:40 am Central Time. A woman asked for me and said she was Fidelity Investments, a company with whom I do business. I asked why she was calling me on my cell phone and she said this was one of the numbers they had for me. I told her to call my home phone. She asked,"To leave a message?"   I said no I would talk to her. She asked if -------- was my phone number and I said yes. She said okay and I hung up. She never called.

I have an unlisted number and I am on the do-not-call list so I'd like to know how these people get my number. I've even had these type calls going to my CELL and leave long recorded messages.

Meant to say Fidelity...I've also received a similar call from Verizon Wireless from # 866-261-8450.  We have done business with both firms which allows them to call us under the loophole in the Do Not Call Law even though we are on the Do Not Call list.

This call came in on my hard wired land line as "Unknown".  People here say it's Fidelity Investments.

This call came in as "Out of Area".  My research showed  that the call originated in Covington, KY and the phone number was issued by Teleport Communications Group, Inc out of Ohio which was a small start-up company in the 1980's that has since been acquired by ATT.

I don't know who is placing this call because when I called it back I got the standard recording that said the number was disconnected or is no longer in service, etc.

If the government isn't going to close the loophole in the Do Not Call law allowing companies we do business with to bother us, I wish they would at least amend the law to mandate that the companies who avail themselves of this loophole and/or any agent or third party under contract to them be required to display the company name, in this case Verizon Wireless.

The use of "Out of Area" or "Unknown" or simply a blank where the name should be, should trigger an immediate fine when reported to the Do Not Call gov't site by someone on the Do Not Call list.  

Maybe the gov't could apply the fines to pay down some of the massive national deficit that 8 years of a one party, irresponsible government created for us, our children and grandchildren.   And, yes...I'm proud to say did not vote for any of those A**holes in 2000 or 2004.

It is fidelity. Pull your money from them if your the last like me to have money invested in a firm that rapes you to make a trade. Charged me $260 to trade a stock because they wont let you buy a stock under $10 and consider it a penny stock. Move to e-trade

I believe this call was from Fidelity Investments. I am not sure why you received a disconnected number when you called back; maybe because each Fidelity representative has their own extension and the 2333 number may not be a general number receiving calls.

Call came in on my work phone.  did not answer at the time, but called back and recieved a disconnected message.  how can I get a call from a disconnected phone?
