Rec'd. a recorded message to call this number regarding prize won.  Elaine Manning returned my call a couple of days later from Kentucky (Verification Ctr.)reading from a "script" (to be found word for word on Google..type in WSM Gatlinburg, TN..go to page 4 "Please John")The prizes TV/Trip/Lincoln,Navigator.  You have to drive to Gatlinburg, TN for your prize at WSM @ 915 Garden Rd.  WSM=Westgate Smokey Mountain..a timeshare resort.

I received a message from phone number 859-514-7229 " you have claim number, call back to Elain to porcees your claim. But i Think this is a spam message and I don't respone.....not thing for free?????

Yes, it is about winning a flat-screen tv and it is legit.  I had to visit a local resort for a couple of hours, but got the claim ticket afterwards for BestBuy and picked up a 32" Vizio LCD TV.  Just had a form to fill out with them and off I went.  I too thought it was some big hoax. Not this time.  The caller is actually an independent call center contractor and makes the calls on behalf of the timeshare resort.  Guess he makes money on each person he "hooks".

I recived a call and they left no message. I called the number and it is a woman calling her self Elane from the verify center. I am sure I did not win a prize from a woman in Kentucky.

Just got a call from a guy left a message telling me to call back regarding a contest I entered for an SUV and flat screen, and to ask for Elaine. I called the number which went to a woman's voicemail about verification for the prize. I stupidly left a message before I thought to look it up! Obviously a scam.....

Just got the call today and Googled it.  I knew it was a scam as soon as they said I had registered online.  I didn't of course.  This site confirmed my suspisions.  Same message to call back Lane or Elaine.  I couldn't quite tell.  I'm glad to see a site like this!

Same as the others.  Damian so and so...couldn't understand the last name.  He said to call back and ask for Elaine.  Rather than do so, I did an online search with the # given and found this site.  I knew it was a scam call, as I entered no such contest.  I really detest people who pull this malarkey.  No wonder I now screen ALL calls.  I'd like to send these lowlifes on a trip to the Gray Bar Saloon.

I got a call saying that I entered a contest for an SUV, a trip and a big screen TV, never called them back. They say the company is PVC or PBC or something like that. I never entered any contest, nor did my wife. I think its bull s.

I answered and noone spoke eventually they hung up. When I called back a voice message said it was Elaine from the verifcation center? i HAVE NO IDEA WHO THAT IS!!

recieved the call today, i called back on my work phone. It went straight to a voicemail saying this is Elaine with the verification center please leave your name and number and we will get back to you, she sounded like an older woman. that is all i know so far.
