Received a call from this number tonight at 8:28pm. Usually I get a call from "Independence, KY" from number 859-966-2456. I don't know who they are b/c they hang up when the answering machine ends it's message.

Its AMVETS or DAV, actually its a telemarketing company that is contracting the service to them. Didn't you ever wonder what all those telemarketers do for money now? This is it, they bug people for donations to Firefighters Assoc., Police Assoc., Veterans groups, ect. The worst part of it is that you know a good part of the money you might give would go to these vultures instead of the group they are representing, they don't work for free.

Its the AMVETS looking for money.

I looked up MOPHSF on the Ky atty general website.  It is the charity
Military Order of the Purple Heart Society Foundation.  I referenced them on the BBB and the company that runs the phone service only gives about 15% of procedes to the charity organization.  I don't think I would give to them this way.

I Frequently receive calls from this number or a similar number 859-966-2453.  Both from Independence, KY.  I screen all calls through my answering service but it is still annoying.

Get this call at least 3 or 4 times a week and it's another person wanting donations from different organizations. I used to donate to various orginizations but not anymore. They sell your information to other companys that want to hustle more money out of you. I donated to the Kentucky Peace officers org and the next thing I knew the calls started and also I get Mailing labels from different companys at least 3 times a week wanting money. I WILL NOT DONATE TO ANY ORGANIZATIONS EVER AGAIN.

Got a call from this number at 10:25 AM on 11/8/07.  Caller ID said call was from MOPHSF.
