Sorry - call this morning, too - no need for the "today!"

I got a call this morning today, too. I make it a point not to answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. I Googled it and landed here. No message left. Hopefully, I don't get any additional calls. If it's important - like someone has been admitted there - I would think a message would be left.

It is a number that is generated from Hartford Hospital and could be a patient staying there as well.  I didn't pick up initially but after a few times of the person trying I answered and it was a relative who had been admitted as a patient.

Never been to Hartford Hospital, never been to their affiliated hospitals, never been to a doctor's group that is affiliated with them, no reason whatsoever for them to call me, but I get these calls periodically.  I just let it go to voicemail.

Got a call from this number today at 7:38am on my cell. Left no message. Found this web site - was at HH over a month ago visiting family member. As another poster stated, makes sense to turn off you cellphone.

no message. calls for 3 days in a row now. when I call back the recording says it's hartford hospital. i've never stepped foot in hartford hospital in my life.

This number is for pre-registration of inpatient/outpatient appointments at Hartford Hospital. This is one of the main switch board numbers. Person left e a message with an actual call back number.  I called back and had no problems.

April 21st @ 8:15am - received multiple calls from 545.6999 to my cell phone. It is a fax machine and there is no way to get Hartford Hospital to stop. When you call the number, the Hospital has a recording that indicates it's a routing phone number that all outgoing calls from the Hospital go thru.

Got a call from this number at 3:50pm on Dec. 22, 2008. No idea who he is or who he wanted but he sounded foreign.

I got a call from here on my office number 9/17/08.  No message.  No reason why someone from Hartford Hospital would be calling me.  It's been 6 years since I set foot in the place.

called my cell phone two days in a row, I didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick up.  Didn't leave a message.  Not a patient at Hartford Hospital and I don't give out this number to strangers.  Very annoying!!

I've been getting calls from this number too. I know exactly who it is! Have you met a guy named Ali? Seems to be of Hispanic dissent, is around 5'6, lives in Hartford and works at the Hospital. I regretfully gave him my cell and not only does he try calling me from his NONSTOP, he keeps calling from the hospital too! I'm sooo glad I found this post from you guys because it now confirms my suspicions!

This number has called my cell 3 times in 30 minutes. it sounds like an incoming fax.

Stoopid Hartford Hospital, I have NEVER been a patient there! they suck.

They just called me to and didn't leave a message. I've been a patient there, not recently, but wouldn't give them my cell #. How the heck do they get it? That guy should be fired.

My mom is getting treatment there daily. I've only sent incoming calls to VM. So he must be using some sort of scanner to pick up phone numbers.

I left there today and not even 10 mins later I got a call, while driving. I sent it to VM and then checked the number via the web.

That's how I found this site.

I guess it pays to turn off your phone when you go in.

today someone call me to give me an app. for radiology in hartford hospital...so weird from 860-545-6999

Four calls in 15 minutes; caller ID says Hartford Hospital - just beeping when I pick up. There's no reason for me to receive calls from the hospital. Called them to report the problem; was transferred to 3 different departments who all said basically, "I don't know, sorry about that, there's nothing we can do." Found several websites with similar complaints dating back to at least 2008, so it's fair to say that someone there knows. Rogue calls may not be top of the list for a hospital's concerns, but not reining in an outgoing call problem like this seems unprofessional.

Please note that if a patient calls you from Hartford Hospital, this is the number that shows up.  It could be someone really trying to get you or it could be anyone in the hospital that is bored and trying random numbers I suppose.
