They called today and asked for Mrs. Popp and I shrieked at them "there is no one here by that name and there hasn't been for four years." She seemed startled and said "sorry."
If they are vacuum cleaner people, tell them you have central vac.

They have been calling my cell phone incessantly for 2 weeks. they also use 860-859-9285, 860-859-9290. I searched on line for this number, as I do not answer cell calls unless I know who it is. I'm on the cell phone do not call list, but these people don't give up. I assume they are from Kirby. I do like High's retort about the secured line, that's hilarious.They will keep calling and I will keep ignoring.

Each one from a different number. The three numbers were:

It's GP Industries - a distributor for the KIRBY vacuum company. They want to give you a "free cleaning" (home demonstration) to try and sell you a vacuum.

Called me and said Patricia so and so gave them my number for a free carpet cleaning etc etc. She said she was from kirby. I told her what I tell all telemarketers. I ask them "how they got this number because its a secured line at the detectives office at the Police dept" and The they should take this number off thier list. This was followed by a HUh- Sorry" then a quick hang up. Try it it works everytime!!!!

Whoever it is calls two and three times a day and never leaves a message. This has been going on for at least six months. Why don't they speak? Are they ashamed of themselves? Why call and not leave a message?

Kirby Vacuum : They called about 10 times in a week. I called back the first number and was told I was being offered a complimentary cleaning. The second number told me that I had a "gift certificate" for a cleaning from a "friend" (who evidently didn't leave his name). I asked the first time to be taken off their list, but was called again in less than 24 hours.
