Sent me a spam text this afternoon, return number 856 470-8132.  How do these jerks get  private cell phone numbers?  I am very careful to not give my cell phone number out to anybody but family and close friends.

The same thing happened to me! Only I was stupid and actually WENT to the website to check it out, its total crap.  They woke me up at 4:00 in the morning! How did they even get my number?!

I got the same message last night around 8pm and my wife just got it on her phone like 5m ago. Don't click on it . It's a virus

They also use a 605 area code. Got one this afternoon at about 1. Don't answer it. It's just a scam.

They are also using 862-228-5683 as their caller ID number.

On 12/25/11 at 5:51 a.m., we received an unwanted, unsolicited spam text from 862-228-5683 with the following message:

"You've been selected to Test & Keep the New iPad3! Confirm your spot right now at http://ipad3mania.us."

If you are an AT&T customer, you can forward the text message to 7726.

Since the FTC is providing no support for the DoNotCall Registry,
I've given up trying to report these on their website.  If any of you want to do so,
you can report these text messages to:

On 12/25/11 @ 7:02 AM I received a message that stated I was selected to receive and test an iPad3. To do so I was to go to: http//ipad3mania.us or call 1-862-228-5683. This call startled me since I was still asleep after staying up late on Christmas eve. Pretty low to span people on Christmas morning.

Yea right, if I go to this site I might get a virus on my computer or smartphone. It is the holiday season get a life and quit disturbing people it was 4:00am this morning my phone went off!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Yes, it should have been turned off but I forgot and this is what I get.

I got the same message from 856-571-4148.

When it sounds too good to be true.  Then its not true.
At least they called at 8:30 p.m. Indiana time

My cll phone was called from this caller and number.
