I got a call from a guy named Scott with a heavy indian accent. The guy said that I had taken up a loan and did not pay it back. I told the guy that I had not recieved such loan. The guy said that "legal action" would be taken and said that a lawsuit would be filed. I told the guy to send me written documentation of the loan. The guy said that he could not have anything written sent to me. The guy did not want to give me any information of what company gave me the loan or any info on how to get in contact with them. A message was left on my girlfriend's phone as well. My girlfriend called to inquire about the company but kept gettin hung up on by "Scott". I smell a scam.

I keep getting strange messages saying my social security number is under investigation. Apparently what they do is make you think you defaulted on a loan & try to trick you into wiring them money. These people can't even string a sentence together-- as if anyone would ever believe that they were a legitimate loan collector!!! Just ignore them if they call you!!!

so i get a msg on my machine this morning say i need to contact a man name george snider.regarding some legal issue and if i dont contact them the authorities will be at my door and my employment.so i called right away.they claim i took out a loan that i never paid back.i never receved any loan frm anyone he asked me if this was my emeil address and it was i said how did you get that he claims that i applied for a loan online.i never ever did im so upset and annyoed by all this.this man hung up on me.i called back the # is busy.they dont even have a free #.they do this to ppl bc they know how we feel about our credit and some will just pay.i will not

I just receive a called from 8636140702 and I was afraid they told me that my ssn was under investagation and they really have me scare.  Jason Connor wanted me to write a letter stating that I will pay them 300.00 today or a lawsuit would be filed against me or a they would come to my job and pick me up were I would loss my job.  I never recieve any thing in the mail about this. They told me that it was to late for them to send me something and that I need to take action today and pay.

Yep this number gets nothing but hang ups if you ask any questions.  They are harassing me.  Leaving multiple messages at work.  I asked what this was regarding they said pay day loan.  I asked can you give me some details.  They preceded to give me a bunch of bogus info, when I questioned it, they hang up.

Same MO...lady says she is with the American Law Division and I told her to google her number and she would see the scam. I asked for the name of the co. she represents and if they have anything to send it in writing and I hung up.

George Snyder called us too. DO NOT ignore it. They managed to have my fiances bank info and took out $30. Seems same but when you're scamming thousands of people that will add up. We've contacted the authorities.

BTW I made a complaint with the Fair Trade Commission.  www.ftc.gov.  I also made a complaint with the California Attorney General.  If we get enough people we should do a class action suit.  They keep saying "Pay your payday loan"  Problem is I don't have any current or in default, but they just hang up.  Up next, Florida Attorney General.  That's what caller ID says, but I suspect they are in India.
