Samsung calling regarding my request for appliance repair. Scheduled an appointment to repair my dryer.   I dont know if they call multiple times... I answered on their first call.

SO ANNOYING. They have called me 3 times in less than 24 hours with no message. It's a long distance number... i'm not going to answer and get charged for that. That's b***s***. (I'm in Alberta). LEAVE A FREAKING MESSAGE otherwise it does come off like scam calls. I had my fridge services WEEKS ago so if they're only now just calling about that it's pretty bad service.

got a call from this number .. after reading these comments i know it was from Samsung.  Had my TV in for repair recently.  The line was so bad, i couldn't talk to the guy (I am in Canada) .. so we both hung up. Great service!!!!!!!!!!

No message.  I had contacted Samsung the day before about service.  If you call back it is a chargable call.  Guess I will wait for them to call again.  If you do business with any company they can call you even though you are on a no call list.  Just wish they would try a little harder with the ID and leave a message.

Aren't you among the "some of you"  also since you must have gotten to this site by looking up the number also?

Received call from the number and since I didn't recognize the number I didn't answer. They did leave a message and it ended up being an update on my service call to Samsung. Good call. No problem.

Your phone tells you who you are calling even if youve not entered them into your phone? Must be one of those new fancy shamncy ones eh?

It was a missed call. I bought a new Samsung Gallaxy phone from Best Buy 5 days ago. This was the first call from this number.

864-254-9600 called Canadian my cell phone 2 times today. The only ID only showed that it was  from South Carolina. Just wondering if anyone knows who this might be?

@Rodnil- Samsung does NOT have to comply with the Do Not Call Regulation if YOU have done business with them in the last 3-5 years.  If you wish to remove your name from their list you MUST send them a written notice via US Postal Mail to their Corp. Office.  That is the only way for them to stop calling you any other way.  

And as far as not knowing who it is?  Clearly some of you had the number show up on your caller ID, when coming on here wondering who it was and getting all PO'd about it; why not just call it back; it clearly says Samsung North America when you call it.

Thanks for identifying this number as Samsung. I too had just had a service repair from Samsung and this number has show up on my home and cell phone several time in the past week with no message. I guess its their customer service. How annoying is that?

Called 12/1, 12/2, 12/3 - no message.  They must not have anyone else to call.  Have no idea what they want and clearly they are ignoring the Do Not Call Registery.

This is not a major complaint but a nudge to Samsung to be more sensitive to their customers.  I had Samsung service an appliance recently.  Several days later,I got a call from this number that came to my cell phone as "unknown", and I did not answer.  No messaage was left on my voice mail.  Curious, I--like many others--did some Internet sleuthing and discovered that the caller was Samsung Customer Care out of Greenville, SC. Up until this call, my experience with Samsung had been pleasant.  I don't know why they cannot leave a message when they get voice mail.  It would save a lot of confusion and frustration.
