First of all you must be a special kind of stupid or just purely ignorant.  Why the hell are you even on this thread if all you want to do is judge people you don't know?  Just about every person in the world has a bill they can't afford to pay and calling them names is just plain retarded.  Oh and typing in all caps doesn't make you anymore scary then just typing like someone with a brain would.  I would love to know your name so I can google it and see just how much s*** you have on your record.  It's 2013, the economy is screwed up because of our lack for leadership and therefore most people have to work as much as they can just to make ends meet.  But I bet since you wear a helmet, you don't understand that.  
Bill Collectors don't have any rights to harass or threaten anyone.  No attorney general will sign for a wage garnishment, unless the bill amount is over $1500.  No bill collector can threaten you with legal problems no matter what the bill is.  Most people have hospital bills that they either don't have insurance for or just plain can't pay it.  So before you sit there and go off on everyone on this thread, answer me this - How the f*** did you even get here if you don't owe any bills??????  Guess the number called you too and said you own money so you googled it.  Not so perfect now are you?  Guess you might wanna look in the exact same mirror you suggest everyone else looks in.  People google the number because they are getting very rude treatment by the caller and they have every right to post on here.  Nobody is airing their business at all, simply saying that this number calls them and harasses them.  So get off your high horse, get a f****ng life and get the f*** over your ignorant self.

the whole point is how rude they are they called my phone and i told them they had the wrong number and got an attitude with me. they asked for my name and it's none of their business. they need to handle their situations in a nicer way b/c if i ever find out where they're located i will go up there and literally beat their a**. i called them back and asked what they were about and they couldn't tell me what kind of s*** is that i don't owe them anything if i don't even know who the hell they are

I am replying to the ignorant person named Darby.  I guess you are illiterate or have some other learning disability to not be able to see the number of people who do not know that they have a bill unpaid, which has been my circumstance.  The DA that called me said that a previous apt I lived in was who I owed and she asked me if I lived there and I said no.  She then procedes to ask where I do live and I told her that I would contact the apt myself.  She then says "no" you had your chance.  WEll it is kind of hard to take care of something you did not know about. Then she asks me my adress and I said again I will call them and she says well we can get it through your social and hung up.  I wonder why if it is so easy to get my adress why her DA was not sending it to the right adress in the first place.  All I can say is anyone who speaks to a person like this is pathetic.

SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED TO ME! I am filing a report with the police. They wouldnt even tell what company they were! They told me I was a bad mother and aunt, and that I should not pay my rent and pay them instead. Im sorry but Im not giving out my credit card info to ANYONE who wont tell me who they are!

I got a call from these people a couple of days asking for my grandmother saying it was regarding personal business.  First off I told them that she could not speak with her and that I was her care taker and power of attorney that if they had something to speak to her about they would talk to me or nobody.  The lady got very rude with me and said that it was "her" personal business and not mine and that she had to speak to her.  Then she got even more attitude and said that the conversation was being recorded, like I care.  She repeated that it was personal business for my grandmother and that she could only speak to her with even worse attitude as before.  I replied in the same hateful tone that the business couldn't be too personal or she would know that she was calling for someone that had been dead for almost two years!  Then told her to remove me from their calling list and hung up the phone.  I don't know who these people are, but somebody needs to do something about their attitudes as they have a serious lack of professionalism.

this number calls me everyday when i answer the want to know my name. if they are calling me should they not know my name. they will not tell me who they would like to speak to or for what reason. Very rude and always yell. I do not speak to people who yell.

You need to tell them not to call you anymore. If they refuse then you need to contact the FTC.gov and here is a link to a page on their site that covers how to go about notifying them not to call you at all.

This man is extremely RUDE and very uneducated regarding collections law.  You're right he NEVER will tell you who he is.  He called us at work regarding a bill from a car accident that we were not aware had not been paid.  When I asked for his name he said its personal.  When I told him that he needed to contact me at home not work he threatened to cause me major legal problems.  This is illegal.  They can not call at work if you tell them.  Our attorney from the accident had recorded the # from previous and said this company would never contact them regarding the acct when they requested info.  So I contacted Clemson Sport/Sports Plus directly since our office had shutdown.  I was told they would be more than happy to accept my payments and notify this gentleman regarding this matter.  He called my house today and wanted to leave a message.  When I told him I had already spoken w/ Clemson as well as my attorney all he would say is "you don't listen and I will make major legal problems for you."  Clemson told me payments were fine but they could not send me a bill.  So to me thats fine not to have to deal with Chris Lee!!!!

This is a company called "merchants credit" they are a medical bill debt collection company.  They, Clemson Sports med etc...  I actually had a small bill that went to collections with them and the woman who I spoke with was always polite and very, very nice.  However, I'm sure that there are bad apples in any barrel

they are medical bill collector....just program their number in your phone or block them from calling that way when they call you know who they are....they are a** holes
