Have had this number show up on caller ID several times . It's a pain in butt .......

I received several calls as well. Luckily, my mom informed me of a few similar calls they gave her, so I was ready. It is from a group of people that sound like they come from India, and will tell you that your computer has been compromised. They will then tell you that they have software to remove the threat. What they do is lure you in to buy their products (literally several hundreds of dollars worth). You then download the software, which steals your security details and personal information, and gives them full access to your computer and any information on it. They can then completely disable your computer. Here's a very simple fact: Nobody will be looking out for the betterment of your computer unless you subscribe to a computer-security company, and even then, they will identify themselves with relative and pertinent information. If someone calls you up, and you do not have a computer-monitoring subscription (no, not a firewall or antivirus... that's two completely different things), and are not breaking any federal laws, nobody is going to be watching what's going on inside your computer, let alone alert you to dangers.

My region has been getting hit hard lately, and a family friend who runs a computer-repair business has been swamped by the damages done by these people. Please, people... be smart and DON'T ANSWER UNKNOWN NUMBERS! After all, let your voicemail work fro you!! And above everything else, NEVER give out your information to someone you don't know!

Luckily, I was informed ahead of time. I had some fun with these guys, and when told to "shut up," you'll find they get very upset and extremely profound. Professional? I think not. Way I see it, you can have some fun with these people, and make them upset/toy with them, but expect them to call you back (the idiots don't give up), or you can go here ( https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?Lang=en ) and file a federal report on them. If the government gets enough complaints, they'll crack down on them, sooner or later. Either way, they'll likely still keep calling for awhile. Might as well have some fun with them, and report them after you hang up - best of both worlds! :)

This number has been been calling at least once a day for the last week or more. Tonight I finally called back (after blocking my number to be safe) and got the same message that the number is disconnected. How can someone call from a number that isn't in service?

When I answered this phone call someone was speaking a different language and when I said hello several times they got quiet. I called back and the number was disconnected. These people are BS!!

Just filed a complaint, a few minutes ago, with the National Do Not Call Registry. May or may not work.

I got a call from this "person" about 3 times since yesterday, on my cell. Can't be a debt collector, don't owe anything and banks only have my home number.

This is a group of India based scammers who pretend to be PC technician. They said they are from PC WIZARDS. Hang up the phone or tell them to f*** their Indian a**. Don't allow them to log into your PC and mess it up. Report them to FBI.

This number has called my home phone, unknown who it is and I do not answer numbers that I don't recognize.

I HAVE RECEIVED SEVERAL CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER ALONG WITH ANOTHER NUMBER ASSOCIATED WITH THE SAME PERSON. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND HIS NAME, ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NUMBER. WHEN YOU CALL HIS NUMBER IT WILL TELL YOU IT HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED. HOWEVER THEY DO THAT IS BEYOND ME. INFORMATION AS FOLLOWS:
