These idiots should be shut down! They use a computer to call thousands of people that are not even clients, never been and don't want to be! FCC what are your doing to stop these scam artists. I am never there when their computer leaves a msg to "Push 1" to talk to someone so I can't find out who are what they're doing.

I got a missed call as well  this afternoon on my prepaid cell. didn´t leave a message...happy I googled the number, before calling back.

Okay, so these guys keep calling from all different numbers, I have recorded half a dozen from all different area codes. So, I chatted it up with the salesman this time. Made up a car and a fake name, fake mileage, acted like I was interested in this warranty "deal." The first person was a male with an accent who called himself Shawn. He transferred me to "Clayton," the sales specialist. Clayton re-confirmed everything I had told Shawn, the fake make and model of my car, mileage, zip-code, etc. He was excited that I bought my '01 Camry used, because that meant I didn't personally acquire the 100,000 miles. "Clayton" transferred me to "Erica," the Program Director, who approved the warranty, then I was back with Clayton. At this point he laid out my payment options. And who am I paying? Stuttering, "we contract with Toyota . . . we are a middlemen for warranties" . . . warranty clearing house? "sorta, We're called Consumer Direct Warranty". . . and I said sorry, I'm not interested. Because of the price? He asked. No, I said, because you keep calling despite the fact that I'm on the Do Not Call list, and because this company has been dialing the entire nation non-stop. Wait! He pleads, so you're not interested in the warranty at all?! Nope, sorry. By the way, the name and car were fake, sorry about that too. He's angry now, and sputtering for reason's I don't quite understand. I made it clear that I had no beef with him personally, and I never raised my voice. Still, his composure evaporating as quickly as the moisture from all vaginas within a 50-mile radius, HE managed to end the call with a courteous "well, that makes you an outstanding person (sarcasm). Now, for wasting my time, you have a horrible day!" (CLICK).

And they haven't called me since! Granted, this occurred 15 minutes ago, but still . . .

I bet it's the car dealer sell my number.  I hate people call my cell phone.  I mainly use it for my children to call me.  What can we do to stop people.  Also when you go to retail store, they ask for your number too.  There has to be some ways to stop these people.  Who wants to get phone calls on your cell at 9p.m.

i just want everyone to know that i am not calling any one from that number that number was disconnected like 2 years ago i called my phone company and they assure me that it has been disconnected an no one has that number so i have no clue on who is using that number cause when i call it is saying it has been disconnected when i call that number but please stop thinking it is me doing it i am getting blog harressments on here i am being harressed on myspace as well one person tells me they will find me and kill me please understand that it is not me

Unfortunately, the fix for this problem will take some of your time. I just got done with a call from these people. Pretend to be interested and you will get transferred to the company that paid the telemarketers. waste their time up to the point they want you to buy, then explain that their telemarketing partner is doing illegal telemarketing (robotic dialer, recorded message, no opt out, no company name, spoofed caller id) and MAKE them report your complaint to their superiors. when they receive enough complaints they will (hopefully) fire the marketing company. while talking to the service rep, get the company name, phone or web address, and file a BBB claim afterwards for a double punch. I am waiting for the results of my BBB complaint before posting the company out on the web, but if they dont cooporate, then I will let everyone at them.

I have already spoken to a rep calling from this number. Supposedly my number would be removed withing 24 hrs, a couple weeks later the annoying calls started up again. I have already asked to be removed twice after being put on hold for forever and they STILL KEEP CALLING.

I've gotten atleast 15 calls from this number talking about a second notice for a warranty on a car that I don't even own.. I just wanna know who it is because its getting annoying

same company also uses 702-520-1126 and when i taled to a represntative he hung up on me when i tried to explain they had the wrong number

Your warrenty has expired.... I don't stay on the line long enough to hear any more. It was at 9:30 am 1/31.

I just got this call on my work cell number that absolutely no one has except for others in my company. I don't have a car and our company vehicle is not registered under this number either so WTF?!!

I got a call on my cell from that number too. THankfully I was busy and couldn't answer at the time. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize anyway, they can leave a message, if they don't it wasn't anything important. I did a reverse look up on the number though and got Alicia Salinas, wonder if that's a cover name, or if someone is scamming on that person too, letting her take the wrap for it.

Don't answer it? I tried once, and they left me a voice message. I guess there is no way to ignore them.
