I support my local fire fighters. My son in law is a fire fighter. Why do they feel a need to dun us at christmas for money??? I understand they are trying to help children, but geez, I can't help everyone in Tn. I live on a fixed income and I say no and they don't take no for an answer they keep on until I feel guilty and give something I don't have and then I suffer the rest of the month. How fair is that? Yes they work and they do a job that most don't want to do. But this isn't for them. I feel badly for children yes I do. If I was rich I would help every single one of them, But I don't appreciate being called and made feel guilty for this.

If so, donate.  These firefighters work.

Then, to man a phone and talk to negative people like you? Ugh...

Hang up call.  Figured it was the "firefighters", they call every year asking for money for an event that I never see advertised.  They want me to "sponsor" a child to go to some washed-up country artist's concert for a price I wouldn't pay for a current artist's concert.
