I  IHAVE BEEN PAYING $50 TO $1OO A MONTH FOR A DR. BILL WELL GUESS WHAT I WAS SERVED A CIVIL WARRANT TO APPEAR IN COURT. I CALLED TO SEE WHAT THE DEAL WAS AND THIS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL GIRL SAID 'WELL WE CAN STILL SUE YOU. WELL EXCUSE ME. I ONLY HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION BUT I BELIEVE THAT THE PROFESSIONAL PERSON WOULD HAVE SAID 'WE CAN STILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION.MAYBE I SHOULD APPLY FOR HER JOB.SHE ALSO TOLD ME THAT I DID NOT HAVE TO APPEAR IN COURT WELL I WILL DEFINETLY BE THERE.THEY TELL YOU THIS IN HOPES OF GARNISHING YOUR CHECK.I DO NOT THINK SO.I LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING  THESE HIGHLY INTELLIGENT PEOPLE HA!!!!

They call and repeatedly ask for someone whom they have been told this # is not that person's # or use the automated message...they have at least 6 #'s from which they call..I owe NO ONE NOTHING !!! I have told them this to no avail. So continue to call me and I will continue to add their #'s to my collection and will be in contact with my attorney soon if it doesn't stop :-) By the way they have moved to a new address 7005 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN 37909 and some new #'s (865) 971-1300  (865) 971-1342 (800) 221-5431 someone must have paid these scumbags a personal visit...LOL

And you know this how? I know lots of people who try to pay their bills and are not trying to screw over debt collectors. I paid this greedy, aggravating company $80 dollars I shouldn't have. I could only do $10 a month. Now, try and get it back! HA! Now they are after another supposed debt from me and my doctors office told me they would take care of this. It seems it WAS taken care of a year ago! Now the sneaky SOB's are going after me  trying once more to collect on a bogus debt!! So much for your assumptions!! Debt collection harassment is real. It has nothing to do with you "thinking" people do not want to pay their bills. You have no proof of that. You will think differently once this happens to YOU! Good luck living 70 plus years without that happening. This stuff is getting worse and worse too. Seems to me it is vice-versa. Debt collection agencies seem to be out to take money not "earned" and not out to get money owed. Do your research before you speak, so you do not sound uninformed and ignorant.

Unfortunately, from what I understand, this company is not part of the BBB companies. (From these complaints, I see why they are not part of the BBB) I am having issues too with this company also, so I told my clinic about it. They said they would take care of this for me. We shall see.

I voluntarily contacted RRC to resolve a collection placed with this company in error. They told me they would take the collection off my records. I paid them the amount they said was due (on the phone) to a medical provider who had my address wrong (the reason it ended up in collection) However, they did not. In fact they lied about how much the charge was from the doctor and how much they got from the payment, did not remove it from my records, and were VERY abusive when I contacted them later. They threathened to ruin my credit if I kept complaining, and told me they would fix the problem as "A favor," but only if I stopped calling them and complaining. They said I had to ask (Nicely) for them to do what they said they would do in the first phone call!

received a letter from this Revenue Recover corp with this number.  No clue as to what it is about.  No debts to pay.  Looks like a scam.

I had an old medical bill that I was unable to pay when my husband lost his job.  We did owe the debt, but just couldn't make it happen at the time is was due.  Truthfully, I forgot about it till RRC called.  Very affordable payments were set up, and I was able to pay the balance in full.  The people I spoke with were always polite and helpful, and they were very willing to identify themselves.

This is a Scavenger Collection Agency who buys up old debt that may or may not be old and tries to collect on it which is against the Fair Debt Act and the Consumer Protection Act ...The name of the company is called Revenue Recovery Corporation and they are located at 612 South Gay Street in Knoxville, Tn,...So Beware of this company and report them to the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission ...I just hope the gentlemen called Man who Hard Worker who pays bills did not get rip off especially since this company has been feature in Rip Off which is a internet website who investigates bad business...

We just got a call on my cell phone, from them, Revenue Recovery, and they were looking for a Earnest R. Pope.  No one here with that name.  The call was a recorded message.  When you call back they do not identify themselves, only that calls are taken in the order they are recieved.  I did this only to see what was on the other end, but hung up before anyone came on the line.

I then went online to the call sites that I have book marked,  and filed complaints.

NOTE:  What we do on the cell phones with any call that we do not have in the address book, is not answer the calls.  We then go online and check them out as to who the caller is.  If it is a legit call, we call them back.  If not we put in the cell phone for that number DO NOT ANSWER. so when any future calls from that place come in, we can see that it is a Do Not Answer Call, and just ignore it.

If any of these collection places conatact you, and do not identify themselves, threaten you, harrass you in any form and a many other such things, you need to tell them that tehy are in violation of the FDCPA, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. and that you are going to file a lawsuit against them, and win a monetary awward.  All of this is spelled out in the FDCPA regulation, as to what they can or cannot do.  It makes no difference if you owe a debt or not.  You can beat these scumbag places using the law against them.  We have done this, as one of these places, even took us to court, but because we filled the proper papers with the court and fought them with the laws they were breaking, we won.  No one needs to put up with this kind of crap.  You can get information from the Federal Trade Commision, or get a copy of the FDCPA regualtion with the link below.

You have no idea what you're talking about because not ALL these are from neglecting or choosing to neglect your responsibility. In my situation the hospital never filed the claim with my secondary insurance. I have documentation to support my calls to them MONTHLY only to receive a call from a RRC staff person (ED) who hung up on me. I called back and spoke with Kim who also was disrespectful. I work hard for my money and am not afraid of standing up for myself because I am responsible. Too many people just pay whatever they send without validating the debt because they intimidate them into doing so!! These people should not be doing business this way. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!

A man from this number called my 11 year old son's cell phone. They were looking for the cell phone number's prior owner.  We have had the phone 9 months.  I informed the man that we were the owners of that number now and to confirm that information with T-Mobile.  I hope this works! The last thing I need is for my son's cell to be ringing in his locker or for a collection agency using up my family plan minutes.

I have gotten 17 calls to my 13 year old daughters cell phone. I have called these jerk offs and gotten no place. Today I contacted the Attorney Generals office and reported them. They have "Several open complaints" on these asshats.

This # calls me only when I am at work. When I call back, All I get is hold music and waiting on hold..WTF?? If its so freaking iumportant that you feel the need to call me 1000 times a day leave a freaking Message!!!! Thats why people have voicemail.
If I owe them anything I am unaware and they can threaten all that they want. Until I get the debt IN WRITING from the ORIGINAL debtor, they can kiss my A**!

I just got a call from this number.  I answered it and the lady talked very fast.  I didn't even get to write down the name of the company or what the debt was for.  She said they had sent me mail, which I have honestly never received.  When I told her that, she did everything but call me a liar and then hung up on me.  I don't know if I owe money or not, but how am I supposed to figure it out or pay them if the hateful ***** (Belinda, I believe it was) hung up on me!  Rude beyond belief.  I have no problem with debt collections calling me - it's their job.  But you get more flies with honey.  I called back and asked to speak to the supervisor.  No word yet, but will update if get anything.  In case any one else needs it, the direct number is (865)971-1300 and the supervisor is Mike Adams.

Listen, they are calling you from a company called Revenue Recovery Corporation in Knoxville, TN(On S. Gay St.)They are a collection agency and your best bet is to just ignore them if you don't owe them anymore than $250. They won't sue you or garnish wages if you owe less than that! I know this for a fact. They are absolute jerks there. It's family owned and operator and they do DIRTY DIRTY business!

I have gotten several calls for someone I don't know and have never heard of.  Maybe she use to have my number.  The caller asks for my name which I will not give.  They are very rude.

I was called by this group. The agent was unnecessarily hostile & rude, refused to give me an account number, or identify the reason for the bill. During my second call later today I spoke with Belinda. She was also rude, snappy, and pushy.  

I did my own investigation and discovered that the bill was from the ER physician. The bastard did nothing but felt my arm & wrote a pain medication prescription - has the nerve to charge $200. I refuse to pay.

Got my 2nd call from this # for someone named Anderson.  Our name isn't anderson and we don't owe anyone money.
