This number called me on 03/04/2009.  They had been calling me off and on once a week.
I answered and then an automated teller told me that this was the second and final notice concerning the expiration warranty of my car.  If I wanted information please press "1" to talk to a representative for an exclusive offer.

I pressed "1" and a female operator came on speaking English but with a heavy Pakistan or Indian accent.  She went immediately to "please give me your full name and address so we can begin to process this special offer".  Although I didn't really don't know what this offer was.

I asked "What was the name of your company?"

She responded with "Warranty Specialists and our company represents 47 car manufacturers world wide and we can extend your car warranty before it runs out."

I told her "I didn't have a car under warranty as my car is a 1994 and probably out of warranty by now."

She responded with "Sorry for the call, I will put this number on our Do Not Call list." and promptly hung up without saying "Goodbye."

I think it was a scam.  So, I wanted to keep her on line to waste the call.  I should have given her the name and address of my worst bully from High School, but didn't,  maybe next time.  I wonder what that special offer was.

I got this call too. It is from 866-209-7845. I did not pick up, no msg too. I need to block this call.

Just got a call from this number. I didn't pick up but they left no message.

I was called and answered the call, I asked the representative to remove me from their list 3 times now...I got a call again for the 4th time in class.

got a call from this number they call sometime's 4 to 5 x's a day when you ancer they hang up when you call it back they tell you the number has been disconnected... there has to be something we can do about this the number they call is my cell phone...

they've called me recently with that same "your warranty has expired" bull. i don't even have a car!! these same people called me on different numbers with the same thing, sometimes leaving a message saying "don't let the warranty for your car expire". always on my cell phone. my mom and dad get them too.

I got a call yesterday, and again today.  Maybe these people are psycho, and get off on reading the pages about their #. ha, I wish they'd stop calling, I screen my calls, which is good, and google a number I don't know, but it's still....annoying! and my warranty is far from being up anyway..idiots.

I wish I had my old DOS computer.  I could have it call continuously, hold to contact BBS for 30 seconds, hang up and immediately try again.
I would really like to kill these MFs. Rough financial times and they have to F people. Note to Homeland Security - "KILL" is rhetorical.

Oh and here's a little happy ending to my previous posts: I got the money back.

I called Auto One Warranty several times and eventually they gave it back (or to be more precise, they actually canceled payment in the pending stage so they never technically took the money).

Hey, RJ thanks for the info. But, I called that number to file a complaint with AT&T but the lady said I had the wrong number.

yep, they called me too.  These people are BUSY, to have racked up 10 pages of comments in about a week

Just ignore the number. They are just scammers. They change phone numbers all the time. If they don't leave a message then they aren't worth calling back.
If you have a cell phone and don't recognize the number, do not answer. If they really want to talk to you, they will leave a message. Otherwise, whoever that was is not worth your time or effort.

Just called me - I've gotten calls from them on my cell and at my work this week.

I got a call from this number, I spoke to someone and he said they are from Warranty help Desk.  He disconnected the call when I asked details about the company.  Looks like scam
