They called me saying that they are calling from Airtel and made me sign for  a new account. I later called Airtel and found that it was a fraud. Airtel has no such number and they are not calling anyone with promotions.

have been getting a call from this number for a few days now.. when ever i attend it, they hang up.. but today wen i pick up, a guy from airtel services spoke.. i dint let him talk after he said airtel services.. i started screaming all the bad words i have learnt since my birth and finally cut it off.lol lol . i feel so much better today.. yaayyyy..!!! i hope i wont get called from this number from tomoro..

Get multiple calls every day from this number.
I get hung up on immediately.
I call back and music plays for about 15 seconds, then hangs up on me.

So this guy calls me form this number and talks like a stupid bloke... Then When I politely tell him, I am not interested in his offer ... he replies "Get Lost!"

I got a call and they asked if I make long distance calls to India I said no and they hung up

No one was talking on the other end. When I called back, music was playing. I hung up after a few seconds.

I get this call, and when I answer they ask for someone else then hang up.  When I called *69 for the number and called back they are intelligable..can't make out much, but they asked if I was a business owner, I said whether I was or I wasn't not to call me again, they hang up anyhow when they find I am not the person's name (which is probably bogus too) is not the one they reached.

I am on the do not call list and have been all along, they are just dialing numbers people.  It is getting to the point that I don't want a phone at all, sick of the shitty calls day in and day out for nothing.  Think it was easier before the do not call registry..no more machines calling me people had to actually dial the **** phone!

I think I am going to tell everyone from now on you can only reach me via email, I don't have a phone anymore due to stupid people in the world!!  Then maybe get a unlisted number for just me and my family to know.

There has to be some accountability for the phone companies to allow us to block unwanted calls.

They called here, hung up.  I hit the caller ID and called it back.  A man with an accent answered gave the name of the company, I could not understand at all so I told him I dialed the wrong#,

Number has been calling every day. When I answer i get a hang up. Started just hitting fax button when I see number..

Asked for credit card information to loan us up to $125,000. Told them Bob walked down 12th St, then did a burn out on 17th and Lowell. The guy laughed and hung up.

I saved their no. and would never pick it but then I picked up once and I told them i got this number from its previous owner, rahul (which is I), and can deliver their message, but these guys wont give me the message for him ;-).
I became very rude on the call and they actually thanked me very much and hung up on me :-)

Guys, be smart and whenever there is a human caller, you can get rid of them easily. They are not calling random people but certain numbers which were sold to their company.

These people are scammers.  They say their office is located in Glendale, CA. but can't provide a local phone number.  I called the building property management company and no such company going by the name of prospectpase is located at the address they gave me.

I have been getting calls from this number and when I attend, they would just hang up! and today the guy spoke- seems he was calling from airtel !! how the hell did they get my number !!

It's a company called prospect base. Basically other companies hire them to do their telemarketing, I found that out on their website, which I found by googling the number.  Thy called me and the telemarketer was so rude, he treated me like -I- was the intrusion in HIS day. He seemed..angry at me from hello and he kept demanding to speak to the business owner and giving me virtually no information as to the who was calling or what they were offering. I read on their website that they get their clients in front of "key decision makers" so I suppose perhaps this is the way that he has been trained, but it does NOT WORK. Secretaries are the gatekeepers who decide whether or not they wish to let you speak to the owner. In my case I am not just the secretary, I am the owner's daughter  and a 'key decision maker' myself. I was appalled by the lack of courtesy toward someone he viewed as less important and really don't understand how they ever expect anyone to want to buy anything from someone so rude! I did let him speak to my father, but only because I was tired of him and wanted let someone else deal with him- I really should've hung up on him instead, I don't know why I didn't. He was extremely pushy with my dad and asked intrusive questions such as how much money we were earning!! Unbelievable!

I'm keep on getting call from this number since one week when I answer the call no one answers. its iritating me like any thing.

got call today, when returned, they just played music for some time, then Mr Sam (pure Indian accent) answered the call.

I said, i own business, and he was ready provide me "unsecured loans" which i can use for my business remodeling or anything i wish. I had fun with him for sometime.

and then started to threaten him that my number is in DoNotCall list and explained that i know the laws that i can sue the company for calling me on my personal cell phone. I told him that I know the lawer's who are specialized on it, and also i told that, i worked in telcom domain (true) and know the FTC laws about it (which i know slightly).

He was at calm, to me it looked like, they are very well trained to handle this kind of threats too. but he assured that the number will be removed from the list.

Got a call from this number, as soon as I picked up the call they hung up on me

All the same comments that I just read on the net happenned to me and I am concerned about identiity theft.  Help find the culprit here and shut them down.

same as above call every day no words - called back 3 times finally someone spoke " we are a international calling card company"

I received a call - I called back - A person by name "John Marshall" from Prospect base. (Who knows if it is the real name! :-) ) answered - he said he will make sure I do not receive a call from this again. Let us hope!

got a call many time from this number. The caller claimed to be from 'Prospect base' and wants to loan money. I got tired of these calls and once talked in her own language that My company takes money from anybody and multiplies 3 times in 6 months and asked for her detials and bank account. Usually I use to hangup but now she hung up and never called me again. Hurray hurray!!!!

We just transferred to Germany and have international calling on our cell phone.  Received the call at 12:30 midnight.  Not a pleasant way to wake up as we have this number for our family in the states.  Kind of obnoxious.  We did not answer the call.  Thanks for the info on who the company is so I know never to answer the call from them.

No one ever calls me at work, so it is kind of nice to have the phone ring.  But then I pick up to the annoying sound of being hung up on.
