Harassing calls at my work!!

This might be useful...They called for a member of my household and he wasn't home.  I called them back using my star 67 feature which is supposed to block my number from being read by them. When I told them(RPM) I dialed the wrong number, the man said " oh...so this isn't "Peter" ?"  I just said no and hung up, but I was wondering how they could tell the name of who they thought was calling when *67 is supposed to block ID....Are they able to get around regular blocks like that?....Forgive my lack of grammer and clarity...I am in a hurry, and just wanted to put this info out there

I am sick of RPM ...they call me 10 times a day, when iam in bed, work.eatting and in church I almost lost my job do to their calls... I never called them before .I don't know how they got my number , but I need for it to stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no peace no more because of RPM!!!! I tell them to stop calling and they wont what can I do???/

STOP CALLING

Got a call from this number and left me a message saying "this is RPM collections delays., Please call this number." When I answered call someone speaking English, this same person asks me if I speak Spanish. when I say yes and put me on hold and pass the call to another person. this person speaking English and said that if it was in English or Spanish and began to speak in Spanish, I ask if I'm who they seek. I said that if I deviate in question did not answer the question. she told me she could not because it was a call disarmament personar for the person who called. and told me if I was and as I said that it was said no.

That RPM is calling me also and they call from two different numbers 866-212-7408 and from 443-599-8711 and they will act like they know you when they really don't. The will continue to call and harass you until you harass them back.  Report them cause I plan on it.

I don't answer " unavailable" or 866 number, I don't want this people keep calling I am sick and tired...every single day./

This is RPM - Receivables Management LLC... They are a debt collector... They pay pennies on the dollar for old debts then harrass the heck out of you trying to collect... They have 2 P.O. Box addresses...

These imbeciles have been calling my house asking for random people, often times refusing to believe that they do not live here. Always rude without fail.

I just blocked their phone number so it doesn't show up anymore, and will see what else I can do.

This outfit calls my phone # all the time. No message left. My husband called and asked who they were and
what their business was and first time, they hung up.
Second call, Person asked if I was some (foreign name). My husband said they had wrong # and asked the
name and address of callers company. Financial Institution - RPM. They hung up on him after he asked
the address of the company

I receive a call from 866-212-7408 collecting for the house phone company  $121. I know I owe it so I ask if they will take a lesser amount. They say they can set up a payment plan. I tell him no I want to just pay a lesser amount and be done with it. First time I asked they said no so I hung up. 3 days later they called and we agreed to $100. (Go figure) I give them my card number and  ask for a conf number. He gives one to me. 2 days later they call me again. I informed them I already paid. the new person informs me that the first person took down the wrong info. I told them that this sounds like some one trying to steal my info.I asked for a phone number to call them back on and told them I would call them back shortly. (Same number as above) I ask for an account number because I know I will not get the same rep. The Account # he gives me is the conf # number the first guy gave me. I said thats my conf #, he said thats the account number and the conf # is 3____________ I said OK I will call you back shortly. I go online and confirm the company. with in 5-10 minutes of hanging up they call me back. This tiime a female, she informs me of what happened with the first person and some how took the wrong number down. The killer part is she read my card number back to me. They had 1 number off by 1 number. I gave her the correct number and asked her for a conf# she said it has to go throught payment processing dept before I can get one. She is just incharge of straiting out the mess that the other Reps make. She said they will mail me a conf # and a statement closing the account with the agreed pricing. I did not ask for it. Now we all run into finicial problems from time to time. Most of the time we can just make payments. I chose not to. My credit is shot from the ex so I'm not worried about the credit score. I did intend to pay the Phone company when the money was right again. By the grace of God it was right when they called and I paid $21 less.

I have answered the phone with this number on caller id sooo many times and no one ever speakes up on the other end of the line.  It has gotten old answering with no one speaking to me. I have a very high credit score and NO troubles with debt collection, so they can't be trying to collect anything from me!  I have a daughter that is experiencing trouble in this area, but she is 30 years old!  Not my problem so quit blowing up my phone if that is what this is about.

Well here we go again.  My Caller-id stated it was RPM.  When I answered the first time I said hello and then for 30 seconds or so nothing.  Then they hung up.  About 10 minutes later another call.  I answered and I was then told they were collecting on a debt for a bank I never had dealings with.  Nevertheless, I asked them to send me all the information and I would have my lawyer and CPA look over them and deside when and for how much we would be sueing your company.  And one last time, I told you in the beginning I was recording this call due to who it was from.  So everything we have said and agreed to you will be doing withing the next 15 days.  Remember, papers all of them to the address you have on file.  It is the one you stated earlier.  Have a great day. And I hung up.  No I what.  I will keep you up to date.

Got a call from this number today at work on my cell phone.  I just got my new cell like two weeks ago.  No one save for my parents and friends have this number.  The call, rings once, it hangs up.  I called back and I couldn't understand the company name but then I was on hold for about five minutes before I hung up.

Why is this person calling?  Do not answer

Tried of receiving these calls all hours of the day and night and also at work. They do not leave a message and hang up when I pick up. I want these haressing calls STOP!!

This company calls my home three to four times a day looking for Taresa Chaney.I dont know Taresa Chaney who owes a debt to RPM.They are waking me up while I sleep.This Company claims they are a Debt
Collection agency.

How do you  call them back?  When I call them back I get a message that the number is not in service.  They are calling me about 161.00 debt that I supposedly owe to the hospital.  I have never heard of a hospital bill being 161.00.   I told them to sue me and he hung it up.   I think it is a scam.

Several years ago I ended my AT&T cellphone because I couldn't get service, texts arrived hours late, sometimes longer. I switched to Verizon and got great service and immediate texts. AT&T are an awful company. They use the scum of the credit agencies. They've given my info to at least 5 companies, RPM being the latest. I've had all the abuse the others in this thread have had. I no longer answer their calls. They've said, "My name, you're dead!" and hung up, screamed my name and hung up, and more. Last night they called at 3:30am. I'm going to use that form letter above. And I tell everyone I meet to switch to Verizon.

I keep getting phone calls from this number.

we KEEP getting the same phone calls - they ask for my husband; he's out of town bc of family illness - they wouldn' t talk to me his wife - i asked "what is this regarding"? they said its business we need to talk to your husband - i just took his ph # and name David Reddecop - he was very nice but i knew someting was fishy w/this phone call. my husband owes NO money to anyone; so WTF are they calling him for? I gave NO info about my husband nor myself - he didn't ask, but we've had multiple calls from this number in the past - of course we let the answer machine pick up but they HANG up - but we have the # on caller ID. They are def up to NO good and honestly my husband and I have enough problems w/our health, so we can't be bothered - WE want our name off the list - my husband before he left town got a call on his cell phone - he didn't answer it but noticed the #; this time they asked for my name.  WTF kinda games are they playing ? Like I said we are not healthy and I'm disabled - on disability matter of fact, I worked for over 26 yrs and my health went downhill - sorry for so much info; I'm just sick and tired of these phone calls. ENOUGH ALREADY !!! I also have a very sick father who is in remission right now, but he has other very serious health probs so we don't need this sick harassment from thes people; Seems now they are after my husband and now decided to put me on their list. they have called my land line and my husband's cell phone - they are relentless ! Thanks for ya'll info - I  NOW know its RPM calling our phones - I will NEVER pick my phone up to talk w/them - screening their phone calls to avoid their scam. Again thanks so happy I found this website bc it helped me find out that i'm not the ONLY one who is putting up w/these disgusting vultures who are just nothing but predators and only want money - which we don't have anyway.

This company keeps calling me, no message and no one ever there if I answer.

This company keeps calling. The caller ID is different from the one they give in the message though. The number on the caller ID is 310-703-5788 and the name is RECEIVABLESPERF. The recorded message says they are RPM number 866-212-7408. Not sure why they are different.

Bu!!$#!+ dept collector, RPM. Recorded message.  If you get a call from a recorded message you can report it to http://www.donotcall.gov .  It took less than 2 minutes to report them.  Just report them.  If they get enought complaints, they will stop.

Continually am getting calls from this number.

Good example.  Another simple way to STOP this company is to file a complaint online with the Office of the Attorney General in Washington state.  I was getting calls daily - including Sundays - and one I filed a complaint with the OAG, the calls stopped and quiet reigns again!

Below is a template of the Cease and Desist letter I used to get rid of these fools.  I sent it CERTIFIED and REGISTERED and the calls stopped roughly 4-days after it was sent.  I received the return receipt (as my proof they received it) in the mail about 6-days later.

I did not get any calls from this number but I did got a letter from them in the mail saying I owe them money and if i pay now, i will have to pay only 50% of the full amount.
