I have Waste Management but currently they owe ME MONEY because I overpaid my bill. So either this is bogus or they have their system very screwed up. I ignored the call.

They left a msg that I should call back regarding my Waste Management acct.

answered this number and the woman on the other end started screaming at me to pay my bill. I asked her to calm down, and after several requests from me she did..she wanted someone else. She called again several times,I finally told her I was turning her over to the Attorney General in my State. She stopped calling after that

I called them at the 1 866-220-7027 number after numerous calls from them leaving messages about waste management. They have a message in English and Spanish while you wait to be connected to someone. Being from Canada, I knew this was from the US most likely. When I did speak to someone, the lady on the other end stated the company was from Canada. At that point I informed them that we were also from Canada, and are on the DO NOT CALL list, and make sure they updated their records, stop calling or they would be reported. NO more calls.

I received several calls from this number. I ignored them because I had paid my bill, but today I called them back and spoke to a very nice woman who looked me up via phone number, and acknowledged they had received my payment, and said she would make sure our number was removed from the call list. I was impressed. Very nice customer service!

I am putting "Debt Collector" down but that's not entirely accurate. I wasn't past due, just a mixup in the payment processing.
