I received two calls from 1866 235-5249 today. I picked up the first one this morning and there was nobody on the other end. Then I tried to call back. There was a message in French, saying "welcome to bell mobility." Then I hang up. When I got the second call this afternoon, I did not pick up, knowing it was a fishy call.
So I used right key to add this number to my "Block Caller" list.

Two to three calls daily for the past two weeks or so. Bell business solutions as others have mentioned. I called back and politely asked to be taken off the call list. The rep was friendly and said he would do so right away. Sounded promising, but we shall see.

I get at least 6 calls a day from this number at my home business. There is never anyone on the line. I usually hang up immediately but if I wait to see who is there it hangs up after about 15 seconds. Very annoying as it disrupts my work. They sometimes get my answering machine instead and leave a message which is 15 seconds of silence. They call all hours of the day and evening.

I didn't answer and no message was left. It seems like someone is using this number and claiming to be Bell. I am a Bell customer and have received calls from them before. Bell always leaves a message. Whoever is using this number it seems likely from the posts here that they are trying to scam people by pretending to be Bell. Don't tell them any of your information.

First I called Telus to let them know their customer was being harassed by their competition.  They said they need more calls about them.  Theyu will be looking into the competitions practices with the CRTC.I just called Bell Mobility and they played the don't know who it was game.  The rep put me on hold and when she came back sent me to Bell Mobility Business Solutions who then said we will have me removed from the list.  I told her that I would lodge a CRTC complaint if that didn't work and she said she would take care of it right away.

My suggestion try this out.

It must their way to use up my minutes on my Bell cell phone. I answered and when I heard nothing within the first second or two hung up. I'm not receiving calls from people who put ME on hold for THEM.

Have been receiving calls for the past 2 weeks from this #. I pick up the call and there is noboby on the other side just back ground noise. I call the # back everyday for this past week. Spoke to a different agent everyday and I asked them to stop calling my Cell #, 2 of them say no problem, then a 3rd said that nothing was done and then she finally did  it, but calls still coming.

Today called again, spoke to their customer service # and try to get this stopped. They put me on the DNCL but this time the agent said that it will take up to 60 days for their system to update. I said you got to be kidding. The agent even said to go to the DNCL web site to enter my information.

Now going to file a complaint with CRTC.

We received phone calls on our business phone, they are Bell Small Business Solutions.  I asked to be taken off the list, they did, as a matter of fact the call was handled very professionally.   I have not received any more calls since.

My suggestion is to do the same, but try to do so in a composed manner, it seem to work for me.

We are receiving frequently calls from 866-235-5249 allmost everyday at various time of the day. Since nobody speaks at the end, we were not answering, except today. Finally we spoke to someone who ask for my husband. When he took the call, the person said she was working for Bell Mobility. But her she delivered a strange message saying that she will check our services ans if she could give us a better price for the same services or she could offer better services for the same price, she will call back in 10 to 15 minutes. She never call back.

On my phone, ID was Unknown Name and not Bell Mobility. At Bell Mobility, there were not aware of that king of promotion.

As far as I know, it's the Bell Biz number, I'm not sure what it's for or who it is that calls or anything, but I looked it up on Canada 411 and found nothing, so I typed it into Google and that's where I found the results for it being some Bell client support, it says business-on-the-go..

definitely Bell Mobility - I called them back - was told that their automated system has a delay of 10 to 15 seconds between when you answer and when their "service rep" picks up at their end

I received six calls over the last 30 days from this number

I called bell Mobility @ 1800 667 0123 on June 2 2009 @ about 11:30
I said I wanted to be credited for the minutes that were used on my plan and removed from their calling list.
Gabriella (employee number 6039115)  offered to add me to the do-not-call list and said I would no longer receive any calls from telemarketers on my cell phone number.

So, the calls are actually coming from Bell Canada Mobile Business Wireless Solutions!!

If I did continue to receive calls from 1-866-235-5249 then she said I should call Bell Canada (which she explained has nothing to do with Bell mobility.  They can be reached at  310 Bell….

I called Bell at 1-866-235-5249 right after I received a call (with no one on the other end) and asked to be put on their do not call list.  I'm not a Bell customer, but I have visited a store a few months ago which is possibly why I'm on their target list.

Their Canadian office was puzzled because he believed they had no calling campaigns in progress.  However, he transferred me to their Indian call center who took down my phone number.

We'll see if there are any more calls.

I have been receiving around 4 calls a day from 866-235-5249 for the past few days. No one is ever on the other end so usually I just hang up. Today I waited until I heard in connect, to a call center no doubt, and before they spoke I said, " Call one more time and I am going to come over there and rip your head off".

We will see if that made a difference.

They call our business land line often.  No one ever answers.  When you call that number back it answers as Bell Mobility.  We don't have any Bell accounts, so don't know why they be calling here.

Its Bell, call 310-BELL, and just keep saying customer service. It will transfer you, and say you want to be on the do-not-call list.

Same as the rest.  866 235 5249.  Called bell and had them put me on their do not call list internally.
We will see what happens.  Says might take a couple of days.
