Have been getting calls from this 866 number, 866 and 800 for a couple years.  I don't answer 800 calls and let it go to voice mail. Each time they call they say they are from Reuben and Yates and need to speak to me about "case number XXXXXXX. The number is different every time.  After seeing these posts about Reuben and Yates, I am going to contact the states attorneys office and give them this information.  My phone number is listed on the National Do Not Call list.  A lot of good that does.

Keep getting calls from this number on my CELL phone saying it is urgent I return the call.  I don't know them and will NOT return this call.  How do I get them to stop calling me?

called looking for someone about a debt, not nice

Called looking for an address for someone about lawsuit filed in Nevada and they were going to issue a warrant.

called my mother about debt on ex husband and threatened to get warrant if wasn't paid by a certain time supposed to call back and ask for bill johnson
called back told him this was a scam and he got ugly and testy on the phone when i mentioned SCAM

called my fax line 9 times today, they must like the tone screeching in their ears :-)

i got a call yesterday saying i opened a card back in 03 made payments and then stopped. well i never opened a card and they refuse to give me any info on what i charged until AFTER i settle or go to court. so i told him i will see him in court. someone stole my ss number and now five years later i am just now getting a call from them. see the thing that is fishey is that that have a very very old addy from where i lived back in 05 well i have been in the place i am now for the past 3 years. he also said he had my # on file and i asked him why is he just NOW after 5 years calling me about this. he is very rude thretening me with lawyer fees and what not. and he  told me there is no way i can fight this in court and my best bet would be to settle. and i told him i was not going to settle then he went off the handle

my son is in law enforement back in D.C.ruban yates call his phone number saying he owe a old credit card and in fact it was and old cerdit card i had from shell and shell was coming after me when i fell behind in my monthly payment i had just been laid off my job of fifteen yrs,it when to where my card was return to shell it findly was written off on my credit report now after ten year ruben yates are going to file a lawsuite and i agree to pay have   which was $1400.00 now after reading posted comments it bull s**t i never recieved a letter from them asking me if this debt and your to send a letter if you disagree the debit these people find old debt and threating a law suite if the debt is older then 7 yars they are s**t out of luck i see them in court!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rubin & Yates is a criminal organization with no legitimate  address or corporate identity.  They have been sued 4 times for similar behavior but nobody has been able to successfully serve them, let alone obtain any money from them.  They are hiding out under the radar for now.   Call your local Attorney General, the FTC and the NY Attorney General and tell them to put a stop to these criminals.

At 10:41am, I received a call from a Bryan Norfolk who claimed to be representing Maryland National Bank with a firm of Rubin & Yates. I was a little shocked because they called my WORK phone. I asked him how he got this number and he claimed it was public record available through the court. WRONG.

I let the guy spill his crap about I owed $4359.06 from a debt in 1993. He spoke quickly and said that an Affidavit was being filed against me in the Clark County Court and I would have to go to court on this debt unless I made arrangements with them today to make payment.

I then asked him his last name again. He stuttered and repeated his crap about taking me to court. I said well, I'll give you a fax number and you can fax your complaint over to me for review. He said he wasn't going to fax anything that if I didn't pay they were taking me to court. We went round and round with him claiming I needed to "cool my jets." Boy, don't tell me that!

Then I started gathering and making him repeat information which he didn't want to do. He claimed I was confrontational and I told him he was all hot to trot about who he represented and now he couldn't tell me? Meanwhile, I'm looking up his telephone number and came across this site. Then I let him have it. "I'm not going to cool my jets. Do you know the collection laws of Nevada? Apparently not, so let me tell you. IF this is my debt and it is now over 6 years old you cannot legally file a claim in court. Do you even  know what an Affidavit is? Do you know how to properly serve someone a complaint? It isn't done by an Affidavit and it isn't done over a phone. And, do you know that by contacting me at work you have violated Federal law?

He kept saying he was going to take me to court, yet wouldn't provide a complaint. I said, I have been to court numerous times in Clark County in the District Court, Justice Court, and going to the Supreme Court. There are rules that you are required to follow to serve someone a complaint, and this is not it! He said those rules did not matter. I said, The rules of the court DO matter, I am a paralegal. I know what I am talking about. Of course, he claimed I didn't. Whatever. So, eventually after being whipped, he hung up the phone.

Ten (10) minutes later someone else from his firm called me, Dan Hollister, and claimed to be an investigator. He said he had received my file and wanted to verify some information. I said, Yeah, you received my file about 10 minutes ago and go ahead, what information would you like to verify? How about the information that you all are in violation of Federal law? How about that you can't collect a debt (real or imagined) in the State of Nevada that is over 6 years old. He hung up too.

End of story. I am reporting these people to the FCC for their blatant violation of Federal laws. Let's see how they get theirs butts out of that court date. >:|

Each and every person contacted by these people gather information to put in your complaint. Then file it. Let the Feds take care of their butts.
