Tim Johnson, quite the character and man of all trades.  I got a voicemail message from a 716-362-2812 number and the guy said his name was Tim Johnson from the Nichols & Grants Firm.  Saying he sent a packet to my employer or residence and wanted to go over page 12 of this packet and go over my statements and my appearances and times.

How does one put these kind of numbers on a do not call list or how do I submit my number onto a do not call list?

Got the same "Tim Johnson" call...I called the number back and the lady was rude.  She told me if I didn't have a problem with crediy card debt then she didn't need to talk to me.  I told her that I wish good ole' Tim would quit calling my number!

Male caller did not identify himself or his company.  Wanted me to return his call regarding reducing me rates.  What rates I dunno because he didn't say.  He asked me to call 866-237-7637.  I just erased the voice mail message.

I am in Iraq and got this same caller calling with a message that was cut off. I am divorced from a cheating wife and I have wasted enough money...now your stealing money from my kids...I am having to pay for minutes to return calls to people while I am in a war zone not making very good money when you get right down to it and I have 5 kids which is where I prefer to spend my phone time and dollars...this a**hole is making unsolicited frivolous type calls wasting my money...I want my money back now Tim...send it to Michael Truelock, NAVELSG FWD HQ, APO AE 09366.  Thank you Mr Tim Johnson. and take me off your list PLEASE!!!

Same as everyone else has stated. I received a message from a guy that tells me this is his last call and I need to call him back to cut my monthly payments in half. He did not tell me who he was or what payments to cut in half. When I called the number (18662377637) no one picked up. There was no voice mail either. Usually when a business has no voice mail there is concern.

Received a call from 417-932-4190 stating on my voicemail that it would be my last courtesy call. Ha! Consumer beware, sounds like a robo-dial system that preys on the credulous. There is no such thing as a FREE lunch!

Correction:  The VM number the scammer called from was 636-742-9033, same as many others got.

I got the same voicemail.  Judging from previous posts, it sounds like a prerecorded scam message.  Just press play.  The beginning of the message was clipped but the nameless caller told the same B.S. story about lowering my credit card interest rate, et al.  Same number left:  866-237-1637.  The calling number had a 646 area code.

Received the same as others. VM on my WORK cell picked up part way through the message. caller ID # was 573-897-3520, but gave the 866-237-7637 as the call back. wasn't able to catch the name, but apparently this was my "last courteous call"

Report these people, they are very suspect.

Got the call as well. Guy must be using a spoofer to change the caller id info for every round of calls, so he's probably calling from an VOIP phone using an automated system. If that's the case then the only number that attaches to a live person is the 866 number, but again i'd suspect it's attaching to a mobile VOIP phone. If it's a scammer trying to get CC numbers and personal info then that would be the way to go. Calling from false/spoofed numbers from a phone that can only be traced by its IP address, most likely from a publicly accessible WIFI connection. At least that's how i would do it.

I just got the same call as the rest of the people on here - word for word.  He was calling from 417-831-4177, a Springfield, MO area code.  I'm reporting this obvious scam to everyone I can.  Please, NEVER give ANY information to these kind of calls.

Same message, a few minutes ago from Tim Johnson, called from 417 831 4177. Asked me to call him back at 1 866 237 7637 to reduce CC rates to 1.5%.

Same story. "Tim" called from a Creve Couer Mo number, and left 866-237-7637 for reply. I normally ignore this crap, but I really resent calls to my private mobile. Any recourse?

same deal, received the voicemail from 3148784450. this was the second incident within a week of receiving a text message regarding a wachovia card needing reactivated which i researched and found to also be a scam. be weary of both texts and, screening calls isnt a bad idea either.

same Here, just looked up that 866 # and ended up here, told the lady who picked up to put me on their no call list and told them their company does not sound legitimate. She said they were a non profit organization in debt consolidation. I didnt't buy it given the suspicious way they do their business.

Robocall - only got half of the voicemail message.  Probably predictive dialing (my number is unlisted).

The number he called me on 314-878-4450.

I also received a call from this guy.  He said that we have spoken before and that he found a way to lower my monthly payments, etc...He told me to call 866-237-7637 but the call that came in was a St. Louis number, 314-878-4450.

Left a similar message as others just a different number on caller ID - left the 866-237-7637 number on my voicemail - did not identify himself in the message
