I got a call no message and looked it up and it went to a locksmith company. I called the number and then it answered IMPACT SALES, which then I searched and it is a debt collector. I believe they are using bogus numbers so you don't know who is calling.. They called me form 508 205 7049 but if you put this number plus impact sales nothing comes up however if you call the number you get a voice message that it is IMPACT SALES.. Also the number is registered to a locksmith.??? Interesting

Newspaper delivery. I answered and heard a girl talking to someone else. I said hello twice more and then she hung up on me.

oh and also complain to the ohio corporation commission... if u can, also corporations are represented usually by an attorney... get the name of this person and email them as well

 origin,  ancestry, gender, religion, religious practice, age, disability

Solicitor calling to sell newspaper subscriptions to Virginian Pilot, based in Norfolk, Virginia. They also use Phone: 888-576-8504 as alternate; usually on weekends.  I get call from one of these numbers about once per week.  Number is saved on my phone as "Solicitor", so I don't answer this number when they call again. Just push the "end call feature"... when they call.

I didn't start receiving these calls until I canceled my newspaper subscription.    At the peak I was receiving a call 4 times a day from as early as 7am til 8.30 pm.  And on the weekends as well.   Once I found out that it was related to the newspaper that I had canceled I called the subscription desk and told them of the problems I was having and how I was upset that they would "pass" my information along after telling me at the time I signed up for my subscription that my information would not be shared.  They apologized and told me they would take care of it. And it may take two weeks to process my request.    Nothing happened.  If possible the calls became more frequent.  I finally started turning off my phone.   And would only turn it on when I needed to make a call.  Months and I finally added my number to the do-not call list.  It's been about a month.  And the calls have slacked off but I still receive at least one a week.   Where are my rights in all of this?  If a sale's person was continually coming to my house I could call the police and file a complaint.  But what can you do about this?

Didn't pay subscription fee because I asked them to cancel the newspaper delivery. They didn't cancel it, now I get calls from these people, who can't cancel the newspaper delivery. Great example of why they shouldn't outsource.

They've been calling me without leaving a message for about 2 weeks.  I was finally able to answer the phone when they called and they claimed to be with Washington Post, stating that I owed money because my subscription had automatically renewed.  The lady was very rude and I refused to pay.  She said that I would need to call customer service to dispute the charges.  I called Washington Post today and they told me there was no balance on my account and that it was inactive.  These people are scammers.  Do not give them your money.

I am sick of these calls. They call sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. One time they told my husband or credit account will be stopped if we didn't pay our bills.  We never have a balance because we pay when the bill comes in.

They call twice a day. Dead air. no one there. they never leave a message.

They call more than once a day!!  I have caller id so I do not answer but it is very annoying when you are on the do not call list!!

appears to be a call from a war dialing room, I could hear alot of background talking, but no one responded to my repeated "hello".

I called back and the recorded message answers as "Impact Sales Solution", if you want to be placed on their do not call list they request you leave your name, phone number and date you want to be removed.
I provided the information requested today 4/21/10 and also filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registery.

If you had a service contract with one of the acquired companies, they most likely looking for payment or to update your contract.

We go to bed at 7pm CST every  night. This number called us last night at 9:05pm & woke us both up. I could not get back to sleep. My mom is in the nursing home battling for her life. This makes me think this is a horrible call about her. I WANT THIS NUMBER TO QUIT CALLING ME!

I am getting calls from 866-239-9352. I am on the National Do Not Call list.

I got calls from this number incessantly and requested to be taken off their list... didn't work, so yesterday when I got another call, I'd had it.  I got the marketing guy's email (google Impact Sales Solutions) and sent about 15 emails to him in a row saying stop calling me, take my number off your list, etc.  Got an email back this morning that said it's been taken care of.  I guess you have to do drastic things like that to get these people to take you seriously....

Industrial Solutions, I called back the number and a recording answered.  Wish they would stop calling!!!

I am totally frustrated. These people call all the time. Supposedly they are from the local newspaper wanting people to get the daily paper. I told them I was not interested. I get calls all time of day. The supposed newspaper calls from 608-230-6652 , 608-230-6657,and 866-239-9352 Always the same, supposedly calling about newspaper. They never leave a message. If you answer (by mistake)they hang up. Very rude. I did register to win concert tickets through a local radio station.I gave them my phone number (to call me ,if I won). Hopefully,they are not in on the scam.

I recently canceled the Sacramento Bee so I am guessing they are calling to try to get me to subscribe again.  When I actually answer (to tell them to put me on their DO NOT CALL list) they say "Hello" and just hang up on me.  They call at all hours. Sometimes 8am and sometimes 9pm. Driving me crazy!  Called the number and it says they are called Impact Bill Solutions.   ???  Of course, voice mailbox is full.

I received a call from these people today, as usual, no one would answer. I think it's a multiple dialing system, so if they are talking to another "victim" you will only hear dead air.

I called "Mike" and left a message on his voice mail.

What was even better though, I called my newspaper and told them exactly what had happened and told them what I thought of them of using a company that does that type of calling.  She admitted that they used that company and apologized.  If we keep this up, it should make newspapers think twice about using companies that use this type of calling.

they have called my wife at least 7 times in the last couple day's, she told me about it, she has never picked up other than like the fifth time they called, where a lady tried to sell the sacramento bee. I asked her to give me the phone the next time they called. and sure enough, they called. I answered with a hello..... and there was no response. HELLO?¿?¿....... STILL NOTHING, I PUT THE PHONE ON MUTE... SILENCE... THE PHONE CALL CONTINUED TO LAST OVER TWO MINUTES UNTIL "THEY" FINALLY HUNG UP.
