Somehow, I doubt it. Claims they are debt collection - so WHY don't they make clear just WHO they are? Also, the always claim to be looking someone, but name is always garbled. Just as garbled as the name they claim for them selves. IF THEY ARE REALLY A DEBT COLLECTOR - OR POLICE - WHY DON'T THEY JUST USE THE POSTAL SYSTEM??? I CAN read and can investigate who they are and how to contact them to tell them to stop calling me.
SHOULDN'T A LEGITIMATE DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY TAKE MORE CARE TO ID THEMSELVES AND WHO THEY ARE LOOKING FOR?

You pay up if you OWE. Once you tell the caller that the person does not live at the number they have just phoned, doesn't mean anything. They assume that you are avoiding a debt.
