I think this number is Direct Energy's collections department.

This number seems to belong to a company that does marketing and/or collections for several companies.  someone above and other sites say that this number is a collection department for Direct Energy, but I just spoke with them and they were following up on an event that I signed up for with BMW Canada.  They called to say that the driving event was full but that they would like to set me up with a test drive.  I declined and then they asked for my address, I declined and said that I preferred email communications and that BMW Canada already had my email, so they thanked me and hung up.
I am betting that if I had given them my address, they would have sold it to other marketing companies or used it for the other corporations that they represent.

Well thanks.  That explains why they've called my cellular number at 11:30 pt two days in a row as I also signed up for the BMW event and never even had so much as an email back before the event.  
Maybe if they call again I'll answer to have the calls stop.

ok that phnoe # calls me avg. 2. times a day and I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY BMW EVENT

I am not with direct energy and when I try and call the number back it just clicks and disconnects.

i am recieving calls from this number 1 866 276 5451 and nobody answer the phone and quite annoying as i tried to track whose company and no one can give.

I am receiving calls from this number and when I answer no one speaks and then we are disconnected.

I also get calls from that number.  Its a company that is trying to get me to sign up to get my power and gass from them, Direct Energy.  I have spoken with a fell a couple times and they are very annoying, and quite abrupt.  Trying to convince me that if I just sign up today, they will send me all the information I need tomorrow.  I never say yes and they get so irratated.

This number belongs to a call center that holds many contracts for various companies in Canada and the US.  Many times they will call and humour you with conversation about something you've signed up for, to redirect you to a companies collection department...  Other times you may answer and have nobody on the other end,  This is their computer dialing out to you to 'survey' you or your family for when it's most convenient to call you back with their marketing...  if the computer registers an answer, chances are is you'll receive a call from this number on multiple days at the same time.

Hope this helps...  Make sure you write your MP and remind them of how greatful you are for that Do Not Call list your tax dollars payed for.

Stop calling 5 times a day !!!!

This number keeps coming up on my phone. When I answer, it sounds like I'm calling the number and then I get disconnected. I tried to call in several times and I get cut off. Sounds like some lame telemarketing company.

They call several times a week. I have nothing to do with Direct Energy..How does one stop these calls.
