They just called 3 times 20 minutes apart..... I did not answer neither time and do not plan on doing so because if it was important they should have left a message!!!

They identify themselves as Assurance Wireless and ask for information to verify your yearly account recertification (including SSN & birthdate). However, I have had Assurance for three years and they have never called me before, only sent texts to go to the website for verification. Furthermore, Assurance is registered with the BBB as having and 888 number not 866.
I doubt that this is actually Assurance and encourage you NOT to give them any information.

I have already submitted all the paper work for a renewal of my assurance wireless service. I faxed it several weeks ago when I received the information in the mail.

Its assurance wireless... They are more than likely calling if your contract is due very soon, so in order to continue to receive this free government plan cell phone you have to submit documents
