they keep calling and wont give info

They call and call, maybe 4 times in one hour, then no calls for a week. When I answer there is no one there. If I call back there is no answer.

I've received 8 calls from this "collection agency."  Three consective calls over the weekend to my private cell number.  The "collection agency" won't give me any information on the debt I allegedly owe.  When I press them for information, the caller or agent hangs up.

SKO called me last week in regards to an account..I gave them all of the necessary information to make contact with my attorney. However, they continue to call me every day more than 3 times a day!! It is annoying the H-E-DOUBLE-HOCKEY STICKS OUT OF ME. The same ANNETTE SMITH amd I also spoke with a ROMEO...I told him to check all account notes and I provided all infomation needed. However, he continued to harrassing me about a debt. I even told him that I am recording all calls and to make contact with my attorney and that I am releasing the call because of harrassment. No later than 30min. later they have called me back twice!!

Anette Smith.  I have no Bills so do not know what this is.

Receiving mutiple calls.  leaves message - return call and get recorded message.

Got a call stating they were debt collectors.  Recording telling me to call them reference an incident number.  Used no name they were calling or did not reference anything else, just to call reference unpaid bill.

Dumbass Mr.Aimes (sp) called MY apartment and left me a message telling me he wanted to talk to the guy in apartment 8, I LIVE IN APARTMENT # 1 !!!!  He wanted ME to deliver his message to the guy in #8 if you can believe that.  Haa haa hahahahaha  FAT Chance!  Hey Mr.Aimes, at ext. 233, kiss my rupp! I get paid $100/ hour for that kind of work, send me a check (certified, I don't trust bill collectors) and I will deliver your message!!! Otherwise go suck a rock. Bill collecting losers.

Please say how you can block a # from calling your phone!  I am being bothered by these people in the same manner as people have mentioned here.  Please tell us how you did it!

SAME THING....this SKO Brenner is a collection agency that calls my phone 5 times a day without leaving a message.  They claim I owe a debt to sheer cover (a makeup company) which I DON'T.  I have tried to tell them that I am still an active customer with sheer cover and that they charge my card automatically but they will not listen.  They are extremely rude and nasty as well as threatening, something must be done !  I have contacted sheer cover to no avail.

On a message they said their name was SKO.

When I called back from another phone a little smart-alecky girl refused to give any information about the name of the company--I believe to intentionally violate the terms of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act as legislated. I told her I was not going to give her any information but I wanted the name of her company. I think she then hung up on me, which was odd.

I just started recieving a call from this number today, did not know who it was didnt answer so they left a meassage stating its about a unemployment claim that was filed. Called the number back got a recording that the company was SKO Brenner, not unemployment office

They are looking for someone who may have had this number over three years ago.  They refuse to (or are incapable of) remove my number from that person's file.  They really are a terrible operation, but there is no quality control for collection agencies.  It is easier to just harass the wrong people than to actually do anything.  I may just start calling them back lots of times to run up their telephone bill.

they kept calling me and calling me, and i got the same message, from anita smith, but i called back and just simply stated "i received a call from this number, i have no debts, please remove my name from your calling list" and then the woman looked me up, asked me if i knew rebecca wilson, and i just said, "no i do not, please remove me from this list" and then she said "okay" and hung up, and now i have heard from them since. i was nice, but at the same time very firm that i have NO debts, and do not know whoever they were asking about.

and if you return the item/get proof/it will only help you. That return to sender is BS. do you know how big these companies are.they are dealing with millions of customers each days.HELLO

pay your bill and you would receive call. alot of time people don't re-contact the company which they purchase the products from/after they have had a cc lost, stolen, or replace due to exp date changing.thats where we come in.open your eyes people.and last these companies which you see on the cpu or television are the scammers and you as consumer go and purchase these offers ($14.95) READ WHAT THE ADVERTISEMENT STATES.

Keep calling about a product I sent back and they continue to say I owe on it.

I started getting these calls yesterday. They are rude and hang up. They refuse to tell me anything useful. Upon their first call, the information they gave me as my address was completely wrong. They told me my card number was declined and that I owe $111. I told them now I need to verify the debt to Get The Edge, because it had been paid for. They continued to refuse any information other than to tell me I owe them money. Not very helpful. I asked for the name of the company and their contact information so that I can verify the debt. They said they don't have any contact information. Hmmm. Sounds fishy to me! If they had not given me the wrong information about me, I probably wouldn't have thought twice - I would have just paid it. But since the information was wrong and they refush to provide any information, it's a red flag. I no longer doubt the company but I certainly doubt the validity of this debt. They told me that if I think it is fraudulant, then I have to prove it to them. Of course, I told the women (yes multiple women) that they are violating the laws of collection practices. They just hang up. Meanwhile, my record gets the black eye now!

They've been calling my house for more than a week now. 2-3 times a day! It's getting old now and they need to stop.

I got the same call last friday and then a letter yesterday. i didnt answer the call, the message they left was exactly(281-4135, thank you) no area code no name nothing, and when i looked it up this is what i got, i did try to call back and all i got was this terribly rude girl demanding i give my address and she wouldnt tell me her name, or the company's name even tho it said it in the recording, or what the bill was other than being $800! i am 19. i have no bills, i have no credit cards, i have no loans. its impossible for me to have an $800 bill supposedly from August 2008 and not know about it til now.

They keep calling me. And i dont have any late bills.

I have been receiving calls from 866-281-4135 for just over a month now.  I get home after 6:30pm and receive about 5 or 6 calls until just about 8pm.  This past week, I was home sick for 2 days - AND I RECEIVED OVER 13 CALLS FROM THIS # THROUGHOUT THE DAY  Every time I answer the call - there is noone there and I get disconnected.
I tried calling the number back and since I do not have an account # or ext.  I am placed on hold and NOONE HAS EVER picked up!  Today - was the first time an ACTUAL PERSON answered the call when I called the number back - but they answered saying "sorry for the inconvience, but our system is down and we cannot access your account information, please call back tomorrow."  AND THEY HANG UP!
To my knowledge, we do not have any outstanding debt .... has anyone ever heard of these people - or talked to anyone at the call back number.
Calls from this number annoy me so bad I finally went online to the "do not call list" and entered my number thinking maybe they are telemarketers....well the calls keep coming!!!!!!!!!!!

This number has been coming up on my caller ID for weeks - several times a day. I don't respond. Today Annette Smith left a message. I returned call as I'm sick of all these calls. I don't know the name of the lady I spoke to but I told them that I don't owe any bills so I knew they had the wrong telephone number and to please remove it. She asked me for my name and I gave that - she then asked for my address which I refused to give her and told her I would not give her any more personal information and I wanted my number removed. She acknowledged that the name she had was not mine but that she could not remove my number unless I provided her with additional information. I asked to speak to a supervisor - he/she was busy and unavailable. By this time my voice was about to break the sound barrier. I asked her for her company name and she told me she could not give me that information so I told her that I want my number removed immediately, that they were harrassing with all these phone calls and that I would report them to the regulating authorities. We'll see if they continue to call. From the posts here, it appears that these people are unethical and one of our regulatory agencies should be all over this company.

I have been getting these phone calls several times a day. they are claiming I owe 45.90 for proactiv solution. I stopped using that over 2 years ago!! I explained to the woman on the other end my story and she appologized and told me the bill has been waived and I do not have to pay it... so I had her reassure me that I would not be recieving anymore of these phone calls and the bill will be waived. she agreed and reassured me... Sooo about an hour later I get another phone call... I told the woman i just spoke to someone who told me it was waived, she said it wasn't and that I was making it up... well, to put it nicely... I had a pretty heated arguement with a nasty lady on the other end. It was also so hard to understand her! It was like this company is trying to mask their voices or something, it almost sounded robtic, the way she was talking!! Well, anyway, I decided to just deal with it and pay it because $50 is not worth my credit score dropping... and when writing out the check/address, I noticed the town name was spelled wrong, and that led me to google the address... frmngdale- instead of farmingdale, NY! Thank God I did because it led me to this page... I am going to contact Proactiv tomorrow and get to the bottom of this. Then contact BBB and see if there is something they can do to stop these harrassing calls... This sh** already happened to me with another collections agency after $ from macys... also FRAUD because they kept charging me the same price after I would pay it.. this is just ridiculous!!!

This phone number calls me at least 15 times a day and when you answer there is no one there and then it hangs up. I stopped answering their phone calls and they NEVER leave a voice mail. How can I make them stop calling my number. They have been harrassing me off and on for a year.
