Got a  call from 18862817743. Women said she was LDG Financial and that they were taking me to court. Told me the name of the company. I stated I didnt owe this bill and dispute. refused to tell me how much the bill was. Gave me a lecture saying she had a copy of my credit report and saw how irresponsible I was and that they were taking me to court. I stated even if I did owe such a bill the statute of limitation had expired. She became more rude and abusive and hung up. I called back to make a complaint about her unprofessional abusive behavior. However she answered the phone. continued with the abuse and hung up on me. I don't know hwo she got my number. Its through a cable company that I hooked up a few weeks ago. i dont even give out the number. The only people I gave it to was Lexinton law firm a credit repair place and that was yesterday and then I get this call today. Im wondering now if the two comanies are in cahoots.
I was very offended and never have been spoken to in such a manner. She said the account was with Unicel I id a researh on unicel and found out that verizon took them over a year or spo ago. Any suggestiosn would be helpful.

This is a collection company for Best Buy.  They will attempt to get you to commit to payment terms as soon as they make contact with you.  There whole focus is obtain a routing number and bank account number in 24 hours from making contact with you.  My fear of companies like this, is they make you feel as if they will attempt to process the entire balance due.  I spoke with Diana Collins at ext. 2262 and she wanted 100.00 per month commitment, but refused to send me a letter of acceptance of this monthly payment because she wants more.

My husband had a Verizon account for 6 years. We paid insurance on the phone all that time.  It was stolen in the Denver airport.  He made a police report and filed for a new phone.  This was 2003.  What they did not tell us was this automatically rolled over the contract for two more years.  In 2004 we decided to start paring down expenses for retirement.  We purchased a prepaid cell phone and canceled Verizon.  I had a cell phone with them also.  My account had a credit balance.  They closed his account, closed my phone down, kept the $29.95 credit and turned it over to LDG.  No amount of correspondence with Verizon or LDG helped.  Finally, my husband settled with LDG for $74.00 and put it on our credit card.  Here it is 2009 and Verizon is showing that we have not paid $43.00.  It has ruined our credit and I am not sure how to take care of this matter.

I received my twentieth call from these idiots this morning. Last week a "Mr. Easton" promised he would remove my number. Today they were looking a different deadbeat entirely, but with my number again. I called and spoke to "Chrissy" whom I asked to allow me to speak to a supervisor. She put me on hold for ten minutes, and when she got back on, pretended that she never heard from me before. When I got angry she hung up. Afterward I called and "Ms. DeAngelis," whom said -uh huh- that she will remove my number.
I am preparing a letter to the Atlanta District Attorney regarding this. All those who want action against these fools should do the same. If enough of us write, they cannot ignore it forever. Stop blogging your complaints and take action! Good luck to us all! P.S. Enter the employees names on all your blogs, maybe these morons will understand what it is to be annoyed.

This crowd calls with a recorded message and then wants you to call them back.  You sit on hold forever, not knowing if they are closed or not, then when you finally get through, it is the same crowd you told last week and the week before and the week before that THE PERSON YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IS NOT AT THIS NUMBER.  They cannot just call you so you can answer the phone and tell them that and get on with your life.  One website on here has one of them giving out client names.  I used to work collections.  That is a major no-no.  Someone should shut them down.

They've called me many dozens of times.  The calls are usually a few times a week.  They say the name of the person they are trying to reach, and it is not me.

Trouble is, according to the message, if I am not the person they are calling I am just supposed to hang up.  You're only supposed to call back if they have accidentally called the right person.  I called them back anyway.  I was on hold for five minutes or so but they said they would take my number off.  I'm hoping they are serious.

The phone call comes in stating that they are looking for "the person's name spelled out" and please contact them at the number provided in regards to a professional business matter.  It is from a professional debt collector, I called and talked to Mark at LDG Financial.  Apparently, First Collection Services sold my ALLTEL account that I paid off to them to collect more money.  Mark was very considerate and very patient while I looked through my bank statements.  Just call them back, if it's a legitimate debt, pay it.  If it's not you, then they will remove your phone number.

I had a message left by this company regarding my mom! I asked her if she has any unpaid bills, and she said has never missed a payment, in fact she is always early on her bills. The nerve of this company to violate her privacy by contacting her daughter before they even try to contact her!

Stall the calls by telling them you filed bankruptcy. That's what I did. Visit www.filebankruptcy.com for more info on this tactic.
